Meghalaya – The Name which needs no introduction has been the most popular backpacking destination of India in the last decade. This abode of Clouds has spectacular waterfalls and rain forests to offer us eye-pleasing natural beauty. Along with waterfalls and forests, there are natural and man-made wonders which are very unique to this place and not found else-where in the world. Naturally formed huge limestone caves, nature trails for proper day hikes & living root bridges which are considered to be a great human invention are very much special to this place. Boating at Dawki (India – Bangladesh border) is also an unique experience as you feel like floating in air because you are riding on crystal clear water underneath. Cliff jumping here is here is very much famous too. Not to forget zip-lining across 2000ft valleys with waterfall views. All roads leads us to the wonders of India in Meghalaya. It’s just that you need to decide when !! We are heading to this magical land every Wednesday from Guwahati and waiting for you to HOP ON !!

[ Offbeat Compass Trip Captain & vehicle details will be shared in Whatsapp group 3 days prior to the event start Date ] Drive to Umiam lake : The drive crossing the bordered states of Assam and into Meghalaya will be a magical one with valleys, unique trees and greenery all around. You will sense the feel of being in Meghalaya by ever chasing clouds and coolness in breeze.

In the early hours, we will take you to Amazing waterfalls – Krang Suri Falls. The waterfalls which has multiple view points for the photo captures and gushing roar of water to satisfy your first organised waterfall visit in this Meghalaya Backpacking. There after visit the Indo-Bangladesh Border, click some awesome pictures and drive through the LOC (Line of Control ) and later visit Dawki ( Umgot river ) View points. We travel along side the LOC of Bangladesh to reach the Cleanest Village of Asia - Mawlynnong. Indulge in experiencing how villages of Meghalaya were and some souvenir shopping before we head back to our stay.

In case your trip remains incomplete or uninitiated because of "force majeure" or due to personal reasons after you arrive at the starting point, you will not be able to get a refund, reschedule or replace any services that remain not utilised by you. Any additional cost incurred due to changes in Government Guidelines related to travel/trek/COVID-19 will be borne by the travellers Any kind of emergency evacuation charges.

Our event Starts from Guwahati airport. You need to reach airport before the communicated time. Our trip captain details & Vehicle details will be shared 3 days prior to the event start date in Closed whatsapp group.

Policy and Terms
- Initial Payment is NON-Refundable.
- 50% voucher will be issued if you cancel the trip 7 days prior to the event start date.
- Cancellation should be informed via email ( [email protected] )
- No refund if you cancel the trip between 0 to 7 days.
Terms and Conditions
- Initial amount is non refundable. Incase the event is cancelled because of unforeseen conditions and beyond Offbeat Compass abilities, A voucher worth the same amount would be given which can used for any future event.
- Option to pay Initial amount is available only if booked 20 days prior to the event date.
- You need to pay the remaining amount at least 14 days before the event start date, Or your slots are deemed to be cancelled.
- This is not a luxury trip, please be prepared for everything. Although arrangements are made to make it a conformable event, please be ready to adjust for any unexpected twists.
- Event organiser and Phone number will be communicated 3 days before the event date.
