Meals Not Included
Day 1- Reach Dharamshala airport, drive to Bir & settle in. Meet your instructor and get your gear. Refresh parts of the glider, how to wear harness and practice glider control on the ground.
Day 2- Head to landing site again. Practise glider control and perfect your take-off on the ground.
Day 3- Get back into flying mode. Undergo briefing & complete 2 solo flights with radio assistance. Get feedback on your flights and technique.
Day 4-7- Complete 2 solo flights every day (based on weather). Your instructors will focus on enabling you for independent take-off and landing with minimum radio instruction. Learn emergency landing techniques like Big Ears. Learn advanced flight theory.
Day 8- Complete last flights in the morning and get ready to check out. Congrats! You are now a certified solo pilot with a P3 rating. Continue flying with rented gear or consider purchasing your own glider. It's time to build your flying hours to truly become an experienced independent pilot :)
Note- You need to hold a valid P1+P2 certificate to be eligible for this course.
Note- Day wise plan will depend on your individual learning curve.
PARAGLIDE TIMING-
A typical day of paragliding is from 11am-5pm for ground days and 7am-11am for flying days. You can buy lunch around the landing site. Note- Timing is highly volatile and subject to local wind condition.
EVENINGS-
Post paragliding, get back to the hotel, refresh and spend the evening walking around the Tibetan colony of Bir. Enjoy a meal of momos and thukpa, explore monasteries, or simply hang around. There are plenty of cafes serving great food and some with live music too :)

We offer a full refund in case of govt imposed restrictions. If you cancel due to personal reasons, then we charge as follows-
If cancelled 4 weeks before, then there will be charge of 2000 pp
If cancelled 2 weeks before, then there will be charge of 5000 pp
If cancelled within 2 weeks, then 10,000 pp
Balance can be either refunded or transferred to another batch, as per your preference.

Frequest Questions
How safe is paragliding?
Paragliding is safer than you think. However, it is an adventure sport and comes with its own risks. It is important to follow safety guidelines and listen to your instructor.
Will I be paragliding alone?
Your instructor and other students will be learning with you on the ground.
But you will be flying solo and will thoroughly enjoy the experience. Your instructor will be with you on the radio and give you constant commands.
How fit do I have to be?
If you can run 100 metres without any problem, you can paraglide. Participants who are generally healthy and without any serious medical condition can sign up for the course. Individuals with fear of heights and vertigo should avoid. Your weight should be between 45-95 kg.
I have children. Can they paraglide?
Yes. Children above 14 years of age are eligible to learn and fly solo too. However, they must be accompanied by an adult.

Bir is 2 hours away by road from Dharamshala airport.
