How to Reach Pantwari

·        By Public transport

State Transport buses are available for Nainbagh (Don’t confuse with Naingaon on same route) at 5:30 am and at 7:30 am. It will take approximately 3 hours to drop you at Nainbagh. Ticket prices as on 20.10.2018 was INR 140. From there you can take a share taxi at INR 75-150 depending on your negotiation skills and season (Local usually pay INR 40-50). I will recommend do not waste a lot of time on negotiating as limiting options are available and in order to save few bucks you may end up wasting your time that you can spend on hills. Total Transport from Dehradun to Pantwari will cost approximately INR 250-300 by using public and shared transport.

·        By Taxi

Innova (6 person + driver) will cost INR 6000 (approx.) for entire trip during off season and may go upto INR 9000 during season (December to February). Dehradun to Dehradun

Swift Dzire will cost INR 4500 for entire trip. Dehradun to Dehradun

·        Own Vehicle

If you are coming early in the morning (Leaving Dehradun before 6 am) take the Mussoorie route to enjoy the scenic beauty. Else take Vikasnagar route to avoid traffic jams. Traffic jams in Hills can be really time taking.
