By Sea :
The fastest and the cheapest way to reach Mandwa from Mumbai is by ferry to Mandwa. Ferries to Mandwa are available from Gate Way of India and 'Bhaucha Dhakka'. If you are traveling with your two wheeler you need to go to 'Bhaucha Dhakka' to get your ferry. There are three operators who provide the ferry service, Ajantha, Maldar and PNP. They also offer air conditioned ferries which are a boon especially during summers.
Road:
To reach Mandwa from Mumbai, one can take Mumbai – Goa Highway and travel till Wadkhal through Pen, and then take the right fork to Poynad – Parhur – Kihim and reach Mandwa Beach.
Rail:
The nearest railway station is at Pen, on Mumbai – Goa Road. It is 85 km from Mandwa via roadways. Through Pen, the beach is connected to Panvel and Mumbai via railways.
Air:
Being a small coastal village, there is no airport in Mandwa. The nearest airport is Indira Gandhi International Airport, Mumbai, connecting the beach to major cities in India and abroad. The distance from Mumbai Airport to Mandwa is 140km by road; though a more convenient transportation mode exists – ferry or catamaran ride.
