Bowl is a symbol of emptiness and absolute receptivity. Emptiness is purity, because when a bowl is filled by nothing, it will at its innate state exist as ‘a pure bowl‘ and it thus gives a tremendous possibility for divinity to fill in.

Emptiness has always been an important part of spiritual journey in the Eastern culture. As mentioned in the Vedas and Upanishads, Ashramas are the stages in which well-defined actions must be taken to ensure stability, development, and timely progress in life and consciousness. The four Ashramas are Brahmacharya (studying), Grihastha (householder), Vanaprastha (retirement), and Sannyasa (renunciation).

Out of the four, Brahmacharya, is considered to be a very important phase of consciousness evolution, where the whole life force is channelised towards realising the absolute truth. And during this journey it’s very important to practice non-attachment and that includes Bhiksha(Begging). And to carry out Bhiksha(begging), the bowl (Bhiksha patra) is the vital part of the path.

‘Bowl’ also means the emptied ego and nullified doer consciousness.
Singing Bowls are known with different names around the world, some are such as meditation chakra bowls, healing singing bowls Tibetan bowls or Himalayan singing bowls and they have been widely used since the ancient times.

Our singing bowl and sound healing course includes intensive training in vibrational therapies such as Chakra cleansing/balancing, sound massage, water therapy, chanting and mediation, singing bowl concert which includes amalgamation of other musical instruments with singing bowls to create a dynamic concert composed by our highly regarded master. This course is here to give you a profound insight into sound healing, thus enabling you to use the bowls therapeutic benefits to became a sound healer/therapist.

Terms and Conditions

The training is not suitable for pregnant women or anyone on medication for serious physical or mental conditions unless covered by a doctor's note.

On arrival to the training one of the things we request is that all students sign a disclaimer stating that they are fit and healthy both mentally and physically and they are prepared for intensive practices that may lead to emotional and physical releases.

Ultimately we ask that each person takes responsibility for themselves. This means resting when needing to or ‘backing off’ when one feels about to move beyond any personal limitation (physical or mental).

If a trainee experiences any kind of crisis we are there to help and be supportive, however, it must be recognized that we are not doctors or trained counselors. We have connections with local professionals, doctors, therapists, and spiritual counselors (Indian and Western) so if you need to see a professional it can be arranged.
