Day 1: Guwahati – Cherrapunji (4.5 Hrs Drive, 165 KM)
Arrive at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station. Meet the representative and drive to Cherrapunji, known for its heavy rainfall. Stop at Umium Lake (Barapani) en route for optional water sports. Arrive and check-in at the hotel.
Overnight in Cherrapunji.
Day 2: Cherrapunji Sightseeing
Explore Cherrapunji's famous attractions:
- Weisawdong Falls
- Nohkalikai Falls (sunset view)
- Mawsmai Cave
Overnight in Cherrapunji.
Day 3: Cherrapunji – Trek to Double Decker Living Root Bridge
Embark on a full-day trek to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge in Nongriat Village. Trek approximately 3,200 steps, surrounded by dense forests and scenic views. Optionally, hike further to Rainbow Falls.
Return to Cherrapunji.
Overnight in Cherrapunji.
Day 4: Cherrapunji – Mawlynnong Village – Dawki – Shillong (3 Hrs, 85 KM)
Visit Mawlynnong, the cleanest village in India, and explore the Living Root Bridge and the balancing rock. Continue to Dawki for a boat ride on the Umgnot River. Arrive in Shillong by evening.

Day 5: Shillong – Laitlum Canyons & Krang Suri Falls
Visit the stunning Laitlum Canyons and Krang Suri Falls, where you can enjoy a swim in the natural pool.
Return to Shillong.

Day 6: Shillong – Mawsynram – Mawphlang Sacred Forest
Drive to Mawsynram, the wettest place on Earth, and explore its caves. Visit the culturally significant Mawphlang Sacred Forest.
Return to Shillong.

Day 7: Shillong – Kaziranga National Park (6 Hrs, 280 KM)
Drive to Kaziranga National Park, famous for the One-Horned Indian Rhinoceros. Optionally, visit Orchid Park and a nearby tea plantation.
Overnight in Kaziranga.
Day 8: Kaziranga National Park Safari
Begin the day with an elephant safari and later a jeep safari to explore the park’s wildlife, including rhinos, elephants, and various bird species.
Overnight in Kaziranga.
Day 9: Kaziranga – Dirang (6-7 Hrs, 260 KM)
Drive to Dirang. Enroute, visit the Orchid Research Centre in Tipi, Nag Mandir, and other scenic spots. Upon arrival, explore the apple nursery, kiwi farms, hot springs, and Sangti Valley.
Overnight in Dirang.
Day 10: Dirang – Tawang (6 Hrs, 140 KM)
Drive to Tawang, stopping at the Sela Pass for high-altitude lakes and the Jaswant Garh War Memorial.
Overnight in Tawang.
Day 11: Bumla Pass
Visit Bumla Pass, PTSO Lake, and Madhuri Lake. In the evening, attend the light show at Tawang War Memorial.
Overnight in Tawang.
Day 12: Tawang – Bomdila
Explore the Tawang Monastery, the largest in India. Begin the journey back towards Guwahati, with an overnight stop at Bomdila.

Day 13: Return Journey from Bomdila
Visit Bomdila Monastery and then drive back to Guwahati for departure.

We understand that plans can change. Please review the cancellation policy for this itinerary to ensure a smooth experience if any changes are needed:
Cancellations made 30 days or more before the trip start date: Full refund, minus a small processing fee of 10% of the total booking amount.
Cancellations made between 15 to 29 days before the trip start date: 50% refund of the total booking amount.
Cancellations made within 14 days of the trip start date: No refund, as your booking will have secured various pre-paid experiences.
No-shows: No refunds will be issued for no-shows or failure to arrive on the trip start date.
Please note: Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days from the date of cancellation. If your booking includes any special activities or accommodations, additional cancellation fees may apply per provider policy.
Terms and Conditions
Booking Confirmation
- A 30% deposit is required to confirm your booking. Some trips may need a higher deposit, communicated at booking.
- Full payment is due 15 days before departure for domestic and 30 days for international trips. Last-minute bookings within 20 days (domestic) or 45 days (international) require full payment immediately.
Late Payments
- Failure to pay on time may lead to booking cancellation, retaining the deposit per the cancellation policy. A grace period may apply, subject to availability.
Payment Methods
- We accept bank transfers, credit/debit cards, and online payment gateways in INR unless specified otherwise.
Cancellation by Client
- Domestic: 30+ days (30% fee), 15-29 days (50% fee), <15 days (no refund).
- International: 45+ days (30% fee), 30-44 days (50% fee), <30 days (no refund).
Refund Policy
- Refunds, if applicable, are processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method or as a credit note for future bookings.
Non-Refundable Charges
- Visa fees and certain airfare are non-refundable. Standard cancellation applies for visa rejections.
Triprowers Cancellation
- Force Majeure: Full refund of the land portion, minus non-recoverable expenses, or a credit note valid for 12 months.
- Low Group Size: Alternative trip/date offered, or a full refund if not preferred.
Booking Changes
- Client Changes: Requests must be made 20 days (domestic) or 30 days (international) before departure. Extra charges may apply.
- Triprowers Changes: Unforeseen changes to the itinerary or accommodation will be communicated promptly, with alternatives provided where possible.
Pricing & Taxes
- Prices are based on availability and exchange rates, with the final price confirmed upon booking.
- For international trips over ₹7 lakhs/year, a 20% Tax Collected at Source (TCS) applies, as per Indian law.
Responsibility
- Clients are responsible for obtaining passports, visas, and travel insurance. Non-adherence to safety guidelines or damaging property will be at the client’s liability.
