PICKUP LOCATIONS
Guwahati Airport
HOW TO REACH
1. By Air:
- Lilabari Airport (North Lakhimpur): If you’re aiming for Arunachal Pradesh by air, you have a couple of options. Lilabari Airport, located in North Lakhimpur (Assam), is the closest one to Arunachal’s capital city, Itanagar. Flights operate here four days a week, mainly connecting with Guwahati and Kolkata. From Lilabari, it’s a scenic 72-kilometer drive (about 2 hours) to Itanagar. State transport buses and taxis are readily available outside the airport.
- Guwahati Airport: For better connectivity and more flight options, Guwahati’s Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport is your go-to. It links up with major cities across India—Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, and Kolkata. However, the road journey from Guwahati to Itanagar spans around 315 kilometers (approximately 8 hours). So, choose wisely based on your adventure appetite!
2. By Rail:
- Naharlagun Railway Station: The train journey to Arunachal Pradesh is like a feast for the eyes. The Naharlagun railway station, just 15 kilometers from Itanagar, offers some breathtaking vistas along the way. Trains like the New Delhi - Naharlagun Arunachal Express and Naharlagun - Guwahati Intercity Express serve this route. Once you alight at Naharlagun, state and private buses or taxis can whisk you away to Itanagar.
- Harmuti Railway Station (Assam): A bit farther away (34 kilometers), Harmuti Railway Station in Assam handles more trains. From there, a 1-hour-15-minute road journey by bus or taxi will take you to Itanagar. But here’s a pro tip: Head to Guwahati Railway Station first—it’s the connectivity hub for the region. From Guwahati, you can reach major cities like Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, and Kolkata.
3. By Road:
- Now, let’s talk about the most interesting way to reach Arunachal Pradesh: the road trip!
- The winding mountain roads will challenge your driving skills, but the jaw-dropping vistas are worth every twist and turn. Seriously, it’s like driving through a postcard!
- If you’re up for it, take the road from Assam. Tezpur Airport (260 kilometers away) is the most accessible entry point. Alternatively, fly into Kolkata or Guwahati and then hop on a taxi to Arunachal Pradesh.
- Brace yourself for the drama—the roads snake sinuously over the mountains and through the valleys, revealing unreal scenery at every bend.

Do I need to be very fit to join?
Not at all. Most of our trips are planned for all fitness levels, and if there are activities like light hikes or long walking tours, we mention them clearly in the itinerary. We never push anyone beyond their comfort level and always make sure the pace is enjoyable for everyone.
Can I join solo?
Yes, in fact most of our travelers are solo women. We match room partners thoughtfully to ensure comfort and compatibility so you’ll never feel alone. Many of our guests end up making lifelong friends during the journey.
How do you ensure safety during the trip?
Safety is our highest priority. We work only with verified accommodations and transport providers. Every trip is led by an experienced female trip leader from start to finish, and emergency contacts are shared before departure. We also use vetted local guides where necessary, and we keep track of all group members throughout the trip so no one is left unattended.
What hygiene measures do you follow?
We personally inspect all accommodations for cleanliness before confirming them. Rooms and washrooms are sanitized before check-in, and we only choose restaurants and kitchens that maintain proper hygiene standards. Our trip leaders also carry sanitization kits so that we can maintain cleanliness even in remote locations.
What is included in the package?
Most packages include comfortable twin or triple sharing accommodation, transport as per the itinerary in clean, well-maintained vehicles, selected meals, guided activities, and entry fees where mentioned, along with 24/7 assistance from your trip leader. The specific inclusions for your trip will be clearly stated in the itinerary.

How do I book my spot?
Booking is simple. You just need to pay the advance amount mentioned in your itinerary to confirm your seat. Once your payment is received, we send you an official booking confirmation email with all the initial details and next steps.
Will I get a reminder for the remaining payment?
Yes. Before your balance payment due date, you will receive a heads-up email and WhatsApp reminder so you can complete the payment on time. Once the full payment is received, we officially add you to the trip’s dedicated WhatsApp group.
What happens after I am added to the WhatsApp group?
Once you’re in the group, we share all the final details — meeting points, transport timings, packing tips, emergency contacts, and trip leader information. The group is also where coordination happens before departure, so you can connect with fellow travelers in advance.
What is your cancellation policy?
We have a fair and transparent cancellation policy, with refunds depending on how early you cancel. Complete details are shared with you before booking so you can make your decision with clarity.

Can I consume alcohol or smoke during the trip?
Alcohol consumption is allowed in moderation and only in designated safe spaces. Smoking is permitted only in outdoor areas where it does not disturb other travelers.
How much luggage should I carry?
