Bali is known for surfing, snorkeling, diving, temples and resorts, but it is the rich Balinese culture and friendly people that will make you fall in love with this beautiful island. After arrival, check-in to your hotel in Seminyak, and join forces with the rest of the pack at 5pm to visit the nearby Double Six beach, overlooking a gorgeous sunset.

Regroup at 2pm to leave for Uluwatu Temple, which is perched on a cliff-top at the edge of Bali. One can hear the big waves of Indian Ocean crash onto the hill on which Uluwatu is located. Check-out and take a speedboat to reach Gili Trawangan - the biggest of the three Gili Islands –known for its nightlife, relaxing setup, and water activities. Gili T is a small island with white sand beaches, blue waters, and tropical vibes. Check in to our abode in this small paradise, and begin to explore the tiny island on foot (fun fact: you can walk the entire perimeter of the island in two hours only). We will stop at the famous over-water swings for fun sunset photos (we are sure you would have seen many Instagram photos taken at this swing). In the evening, prepare for the non-stop party that this island promises. This is called a party island for a reason! Open clubs with beer pong, white sandy beaches, UV lights, and people in cycles zipping through the dancing crowds (there are no motor vehicles here).

After recovering from the previous night with a healthy breakfast, we will hop onto our glassbottom boat and go on a snorkeling trip around the Gili islands. We will snorkel today at the three best spots known for different marine life. For enthusiasts, scuba diving is available at a nominal cost. You can expect to see huge sea turtles, clown-fish, trumpet fish and more. If we are lucky, we can spot barracudas & baby sharks. Post our snorkeling trip, you have the rest of the day at leisure. We can arrange Stand-Up Paddleboards (SUP) or Kayaks for you, if you are keen to try them. Alternatively, you can just relax on the white sand beaches or cycle around the island. In the night, you can indulge in the famous Gili T nightlife one more time. The island that would not even pop-up on the world map will become your most favourite place on earth!
Day 5 - Ubud + Monkey Forest

One might get used to being surrounded by white sandy beaches and blue waters at Gili Islands, but it is time to make our way to Ubud next. In the afternoon, we will visit the Monkey Forest – an eco-reserve with friendly monkeys. In the evening, we recommend going to bed early as we will embark on an amazing adventure past midnight.

Things to carry
Packing List Temperature in Bali during our trip is expected to average around 23°C to 28°C. We suggest packing: • Comfortable casuals based on the trip duration • 1-2 sets of casual formals (going-out/party clothes) • One light jacket for hike (temperature is 6-10 degrees lower at the volcano summit) • Rain-jacket or an umbrella since it could rain at times • Regular Footwear: Flip-Flops/Sandals, Going out shoes, etc. • Hiking/Sports Shoes (regular sports shoes with decent grip works well for this hike) • Small backpack, if required for hiking • Swim-wear (obviously!) Toiletries Your usual stuff, plus a strong sunscreen. SIM Cards If required, local SIM cards are available with good data packs for reasonable costs. Get only Telkomsel or XL cards. Avoid buying from airport, since SIM cards are overpriced. Miscellaneous • Sunglasses • Any medications which you consume (generic medicines are available at pharmacies) • Chargers, Power Banks • Power Adapters (Europe-style outlets in Bali; Indian 2-pin plugs work in some outlets) Important: Gili islands does not have any vehicles for transportation so ensure your bags/ suitcase are something which you can drag by wheels or carry independently, since there is a short walk to the hotel. Alternate is to book a horse cart if you pack heavy. This list is not exhaustive, but is suggested as a guide. Please pack whatever you see fit. Lastly, don’t worry. Even if you forget anything, you will likely get it easily in Bali.
