Learn to surf, climb a volcano, scuba dive and more in this island paradise.
One Island, Many Destinations. This is a perfect way to describe this popular Indonesian island that combines green rice terraces with long tropical beaches and volcanoes. Bali is known for surfing, snorkeling, diving, temples and resorts, but it is the rich Balinese culture and friendly people that will make you fall in love with this beautiful island. After arrival, check-in to your hotel in Seminyak, and join forces with the rest of the pack at 5pm to visit the nearby Double Six beach, overlooking a gorgeous sunset.
Let the adventure begin! After an early breakfast, we will make our way to Kuta beach - named as one of the top five spots in the world for beginners to learn surfing. Apply lots of sunscreen, enjoy a two-hour surfing lesson and catch your first wave. Enjoy the authentic local food for lunch after the surflesson. Regroup at 2pm to leave for Uluwatu Temple, which is perched on a cliff-top at the edge of Bali. One can hear the big waves of Indian Ocean crash onto the hill on which Uluwatu is located. Watch the traditional Balinese Kecak Fire dance performance against the backdrop of a spectacular sunset.
Check-out and take a speedboat to reach Gili Trawangan - the biggest of the three Gili Islands –known for its nightlife, relaxing setup, and water activities. Gili T is a small island with white sand beaches, blue waters, and tropical vibes. Check in to our abode in this small paradise, and begin to explore the tiny island on foot (fun fact: you can walk the entire perimeter of the island in two hours only). We will stop at the famous over-water swings for fun sunset photos (we are sure you would have seen many Instagram photos taken at this swing). In the evening, prepare for the non-stop party that this island promises. This is called a party island for a reason! Open clubs with beer pong, white sandy beaches, UV lights, and people in cycles zipping through the dancing crowds (there are no motor vehicles here).
After recovering from the previous night with a healthy breakfast, we will hop onto our glassbottom boat and go on a snorkeling trip around the Gili islands. We will snorkel today at the three best spots known for different marine life. For enthusiasts, scuba diving is available at a nominal cost. You can expect to see huge sea turtles, clown-fish, trumpet fish and more. If we are lucky, we can spot barracudas & baby sharks. Post our snorkeling trip, you have the rest of the day at leisure. We can arrange Stand-Up Paddleboards (SUP) or Kayaks for you, if you are keen to try them. Alternatively, you can just relax on the white sand beaches or cycle around the island. In the night, you can indulge in the famous Gili T nightlife one more time. The island that would not even pop-up on the world map will become your most favourite place on earth!
One might get used to being surrounded by white sandy beaches and blue waters at Gili Islands, but it is time to make our way to Ubud next. Ubud is the cultural heart of Bali, an artful and serene town, which came to prominence after Julia Roberts’ Eat, Pray, Love. Post our journey from Gili Islands, we will get a late lunch at Ubud. In the afternoon, we will visit the Monkey Forest – an eco-reserve with friendly monkeys. In the evening, we recommend going to bed early as we will embark on an amazing adventure past midnight.
Evening Snacks, Dinner, Breakfast
We will meet at hotel reception at 2am to leave for a hike up Mount Batur - an active volcano 1717 meters above sea-level which last erupted in 1968. It is a 2-hour easy to medium difficulty level hike under moonlight (with aid of torches). At sunrise, you will catch panoramic views overseeing lakes, volcanoes and Lombok island making for some great landscape photographs. Rest of the day is at your leisure, and we have a complimentary Balinese massage session booked for you today, which you can schedule at a time convenient for you. We have a couple of suggestions for rest of the evening which will be given during the trip, and group is welcome to join based on their interest.
After breakfast, we will depart for Tegunungan Waterfalls near Ubud. The waterfall is surrounded by lush greenery and the natural springs are perfect for swimming and enjoying the fresh water. In the evening, we have a relaxing yoga session scheduled for the group at a beautiful yoga studio with gorgeous views.
Say goodbye to Ubud - the paradise you will definitely want to return to. After check out, we will visit the iconic Tegalalang Rice Terraces and a nearby market known for great handicrafts at very affordable prices. Next stop is back at Seminyak. It is the last evening of our trip, and we recommend celebrating it in style by visiting the famous Potato Head Beach Club for great sunset views from an infinity pool, and following it up by exploring other top nightlife joints of Bali with the crew!
Enjoy one final breakfast with the group, share social media details, hug it out and make plans to reunite soon.

Toiletries Your usual stuff, plus a strong sunscreen. SIM Cards If required, local SIM cards are available with good data packs for reasonable costs. Get only Telkomsel or XL cards. Avoid buying from airport, since SIM cards are overpriced.
