Day 1 - Bagdogra Airport to Phuentsholing | Overnight at Phuentsholing

Reach Bagdogra airport by 2.00 pm. After a brief introduction, we will move towards the border town of Phuentsholing. It is a 4-hour drive through acres of tea gardens and countryside. Once we reach the border a huge ornate gate welcomes us to Bhutan. We will spend the night at Phuentsholing.
Day 2 - Phuentsholing to Thimphu | Overnight at Thimphu

- Start your morning drive to Thimphu after breakfast, passing through Bhutan's stunning countryside.
- Enjoy scenic mountain roads, forests, waterfalls, and quaint villages along the way.
- Pause at Chuzom Bridge to admire the confluence of Paro and Thimphu rivers, with a royal portrait welcoming you to Bhutan.
- Arrive in Thimphu by evening and check into your hotel.
- If time permits, explore the unique city, known for its absence of traffic lights, or browse local markets.
- Stay overnight in Thimphu, ready for more adventures tomorrow.
Day 3 - Thimphu Museum | Journey to Phobjikha | Overnight at Phobjikha

- After breakfast and check-out, we'll explore a museum showcasing Bhutanese culture.
- Next, we'll head to Phobjikha Valley via Dochu La Pass, offering stunning Himalayan views.
- At the pass, we'll enjoy hot tea/coffee at the café while admiring the scenery.
- We'll visit the 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens, honoring soldiers who perished in "Operation All Clear" in 2003.
- Then, we'll continue to Phobjikha for an overnight stay.
Day 4 - Gangtey Monastery | Journey to Phunaka | Overnight at Punakha

- Our first destination is Gangtey Monastery, also known as Gangtey Gompa, a significant monastery of the Nyingmapa school of Buddhism.
- Later, we'll journey to Punakha. Following lunch, we'll embark on a brief hike to Chimi Lhakhang, also known as the temple of fertility, dedicated to Lam Drukpa Kuenley, the Divine Mad Man.
- This site is renowned as the origin of Phalluses, symbolizing fertility and protection, where couples seeking children often seek blessings.
- Our day concludes with a visit to the Suspension Bridge, offering breathtaking views of the river and valley.
- Check-in at the hotel for an overnight stay in Punakha.
Day 5 - Punakha to Paro | Overnight at Paro

- The hike typically spans 2-4 hours, contingent upon individual pace, culminating at one of Bhutan's most sacred sites, clinging miraculously to a sheer cliff face 900 meters above the valley.
- After immersing ourselves in the monastery's tranquility, commence the return journey to Paro.

Policy and more
- If cancellation done by participant prior to 45 days of the Event, 10% of the advance amount will be deducted
- If cancellation done by participant prior to 30 days of the Event, 50% of the advance amount will be deducted
- If cancellation done by participant between 15 to 30 days of the Event, 100% of advance amount will be deducted
- If cancellation done by participant between 7 to 15 days of the Event, 50% of whole trip amount will be deducted
- If cancellation done by participant within 7 days of the Event, 100% of whole trip amount will be deducted
Terms and Conditions
- Any additional expenses arising out of unforeseen circumstances like cancellation/ roadblocks/landslides/strike or any other natural causes out of human control or any emergency evacuation expenses will be borne by the travellers
- In case of cancellation of any event due to reasons beyond control (like Natural calamities, riots, political uncertainty, public transport failure etc.), refund shall be payable with respect to the given refund norms.
- Wandering Souls will not be responsible for any losses incurred for any train/air/bus/taxi bookings, hotel bookings or extension to the camp done by clients/participants

an I come alone?
Yes, many of our participants are solo travellers.
Is it safe for a female solo traveller?
It is completely safe for a female solo traveller as our representatives will be there with you all the time. Moreover, most of our events have 60% female participation.
What if I have a medical emergency?
We will carry first aid kit with us. The coordinators will be first aid certified. If the problem increases, we will quickly get you to closest medical attention possible.
How will you contact me once I register?
We will be mailing you the details once you register. We will also create a WhatsApp group a 2 weeks before the trip
What is the stay like in Bhutan Trip?
Accommodation on Double sharing basis in Hotels & Houseboats at all destinations as per the itinerary. In an unlikely case of odd number of male/female participants 1 or max 2 rooms will be triple sharing (only where the room is big enough)

International roaming charges would apply on your Indian SIM cards. You can take a local sim card by showing your passport or voter id from Bhutan
What type of food will I get in Bhutan?
We will be having our Breakfast & Dinners at our stays. Lunches we will have locally during our road trip and sightseeing trips. Avg cost per meal would be around ₹200-₹300
