Punakha is the old capital of Bhutan and now its district of Punakha Dzongkhag. Punakha was the capital of Bhutan till 1955. En-route visit Dochu la Pass. The pass is popular among the tourists because of its 360 degree panoramic view of Himalayan range. Morning visit Punakha Dzong, also known as Pungthang Dewa Chhenbi Phodrang, is the Administrative centre of Punakha District in Punakha, Bhutan. Constructed by Ngawang Namgyal, 1st Zhabdrung Rinpoche, in 1637–38, it is the second oldest and second largest dzong in Bhutan and one of its most majestic structures and Suspension Bridge.
After lunch if time permits hike to Chimmi lhakhang- Chimi Lhakhang, also known as Chime Lhakhang or Monastery or temple, is a Buddhist monastery in Punakha District, Bhutan. Located near Lobesa, it stands on a round hillock and was built in 1499 by the 14th Drukpa hierarch, Ngawang Choegyel, after the site was blessed by the "Divine Madman" the maverick saint Drukpa Kunley (1455–1529) who built a chorten on the site. Overnight at Thimphu.
Day 4 - Thimphu - Paro, Stay: Paro

After breakfast, take an excursion to Taktsang Monastery, the most famous of Bhutanese monasteries. It is said that Guru Rinpoche arrived here on the back of a tigress and meditated at this monastery hence it is called “Tiger’s Nest”. By Train:
- If you prefer trains, you can take an Indian Railways train from your departure city to New Jalpaiguri (NJP) station.

Please note that cancellation policies are non-negotiable, and a 5% GST and payment gateway charges will be applicable on the total cancellation amount.
- Booking amount is non-refundable. However, it can be utilized as a Credit Note in case of any medical emergency with proper documents.
- If you fail to show up on the day of departure within the specified timeline, you are not eligible for a refund.
- In cases of government orders, harsh weather conditions, protests, landslides, or other unforeseen circumstances, there will be no refund. However, we usually have backup plans prepared.
- If a trek or trip needs to be aborted midway due to natural calamities or unforeseen circumstances (e.g., rain, snowfall, earthquake, strikes), no refund will be provided.
- Any additional expenses resulting from natural calamities or unforeseen circumstances are not covered by TripNaari.
- For group tours, if the minimum number of participants (typically 10) is not met, TripNaari reserves the right to cancel the trip. In such cases, you will be offered an alternative trip or departure date or a full refund of the land portion of your trip (minus any non-recoverable expenses, such as visa fees), or credit notes for a future trip, which can be redeemed within 12 months from the date of issue.
- Cancellations (in case of emergency) must be submitted in writing. Cancellation charges apply according to the policy provided during booking. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 7-10 working days.
Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the relationship between you ("Client" or "you") and Trip Naari OPC Pvt Ltd. ("TripNaari," "we," or "us"). By booking any tour or service with TripNaari, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
- Vouchers are non-transferable and valid only for the specified services.
- Services not explicitly requested, confirmed, and noted on the vouchers will not be provided.
- Any additional services beyond the itinerary will incur direct charges at the location.
- Unused services are non-refundable.
- The company is not liable for damages or charges incurred due to natural disasters, war, civil unrest, or alterations in the tour itinerary. Baggage and personal belongings of the tour participant is his/ her responsibility. The company shall not be liable for the loss / damage of the same.
- Accidents during transportation or accommodations, damage by fire, and theft during free activities are the traveler’s responsibility.
- Misbehavior causing inconvenience or damage may result in immediate expulsion from the tour. Consumption of alcohol and smoking is strictly prohibited. Any disputes arising in respect of the tour shall be subject to Bangalore Jurisdiction.
- Food and drinking water are not provided during the journey; travelers should make their own arrangements.
- The company may arrange shooting during tours (stills / video). The tour participants shall have no objection to the shot material being used as publicity material by the company.
- Prices are subject to change based on availability and foreign exchange rates. Once full payment is made, your trip price is locked, and no further changes will apply.
- In the rare event that TripNaari has to change your trip details (such as hotel, itinerary, or transport) due to unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you as soon as possible. Alternatives will be provided, and we will strive to keep any disruptions minimal.
- Prices are based on current availability and foreign exchange rates. The final price will be confirmed at the time of booking and is subject to change.
- Clients must disclose any medical conditions that may affect their participation in the trip. TripNaari reserves the right to request a medical certificate where applicable.
- Clients must ensure they meet health requirements (including vaccinations) for their destinations. Any medical conditions must be disclosed prior to booking.
- Clients must follow safety guidelines provided during the trip. TripNaari will not be liable for incidents arising from the failure to adhere to safety instructions.
- It is the client’s responsibility to obtain valid travel documents (passports, visas). TripNaari is not liable for any issues arising from incomplete or invalid documentation.
- While we may assist with visa applications, approval is at the discretion of the embassy or consulate.
- Check-in times are generally 2 PM, and check-out times are 11 AM, subject to hotel policies. Early check-in or late check-out may incur additional charges.
- Room types and amenities may vary based on the destination. Clients are responsible for any damages incurred during their stay.
- Transfers are arranged according to the itinerary. Clients must be punctual for all transfers to avoid disruptions to the schedule.
- Sightseeing activities are subject to change or cancellation due to local conditions. No refunds will be provided for unused services.
- We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unforeseen cancellations, medical emergencies, and trip interruptions. TripNaari is not responsible for any losses not covered by travel insurance.
- TripNaari reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Clients will be notified of changes, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

1) Can I travel solo?
Ans: Ofcourse, travel solo with a group of like-minded solo travelers or just with yourself alone to a new destination, TripNaari will take care of everything.
2) Can I also bring my friends and family members along with me?
Ans: TripNaari is a women-oriented travel company, specialized in providing handcrafted travel services for women of all ethnicities and ages. The services include group tours, customized tours for solo travelers, group of friends or family members.
3) Can I also bring my kids on Group tours?
Ans: Most of our Group tours are kids friendly. Kindly connect with any of our Tour Consultants to get a confirmation and cost details if not mentioned on our website.
4) What is the approximate cost for parking and monument entry fees during sightseeing?
Ans: For each and every destination, costs may vary. The entry and vehicle parking fee starts from Rs.50/- to Rs.200/- each places. You can carry Rs.8,000/- for your meals, sightseeing, entry, guide charges, activities like Boating, Adventure activities and shopping.
5) What if there is any medical emergency during the tour? Will I be getting any refund for cancellation?
Ans: The tour leaders are capable enough to handle any situations and proper attention will be given throughout the tour. In case you get admitted in hospital, you will not be able to join further places because of fixed itinerary for a group tour and no refund will be initiated. Hospital expenses and stay at hotel will be paid by the customer directly. However, we will make sure that you are well prepared for the tour and instructions will be given accordingly.
6) What if my flight/train gets cancelled or rescheduled?
And: You will have to inform us as soon as possible, with additional pick-up charges (if the timings are not matching with the earlier scheduled timings. Also, early check-in at hotel is not allowed.
7) Can I carry snacks for the tour and is liquor and smoking allowed?
Ans: Yes, keep on munching and keep yourself hydrated. Drinking and smoking is strictly prohibited.
8) Can we expect proper food wherever we stay?
Ans: Bhutanese delicacies are rich with spicy chillies and cheese but are normally tempered to the taste of the visitors. All our hotels and lodges offer delicious Indian, Chinese, Continental and Bhutanese cuisine. Hotels normally serve a mixture of vegetarian and non-vegetarian items on buffet style however pure vegetarian meals also served on request and prior information.
9) Can I opt for a Single sharing room?
Ans: Kindly connect with any of our Tour Consultants to get a confirmation on this and cost details if not mentioned on our website. However, places like Ladakh, Arunachal, Meghalaya do not have single rooms due to limited accommodations.
10) Do we get any refund in case we miss any sightseeing places?
Ans: No, there will not be any refund. We request you to be on time everyday and follow the instructions given by the leader.
11) How is the network connectivity and which network works?
And: Telecommunication is well developed and efficient in Bhutan. The country code is +975. WiFi is available in all stays. You can also buy a local sim card for INR 500.
12) How is the weather conditions of Bhutan throughout the year?
Ans: Bhutan’s climate is quite unpredictable. The weather can vary dramatically from place to place and day to day. In Thimphu and Paro valleys, the winter daytime temperature averages 16 degrees Celsius during clear days and drop well below freezing point during the night. The fluctuations are not so great during the summer and the daytime temperature rises to mid-twenties Celsius. From May to September, cotton cloths are sufficient, plus a woolen sweater or light jacket. From November to the end of April, however, you will need very warm clothes. Comfortable sports shoes are also recommended. Mountains boots are not necessary unless you are trekking.
13) What currency can we use there?
Ans: The Bhutanese currency is called Ngultrum (Nu.) and is at par with Indian Rupee. Credit cards (Amex and Visa cards) are accepted by only few limited establishments and no ATM centers are available. Indian Rupee is acceptable all over Bhutan. It is advisable to carry Indian currency cash throughout the trip.
14) What is the main language and religion of Bhutan?
Ans: The official language of Bhutan is Dzongkha and a large number of dialects are spoken. English has been the language of educational instruction since 1964 and is widely spoken. Also locals at popular tourist destinations understand and speak Hindi. Mahayana Buddhism is the state religion and the majority of Bhutanese people follow Drukpa School of the Kagyupa.
15) Is photography allowed?
Ans: You can photograph almost everywhere in Bhutan. The people are highly photogenic and everyone seems to wear a smile. However, very often the Bhutanese are camera shy so use your discretion at all times and when in doubt ask verbally or by gesture. Also while photographing Dzongs, monasteries and temples; please check with your guide.
16) How is the electricity facility?
