The second day of your Chikmagalur itinerary for 2 nights 3 days will take you to Kemmangundi. You will be first taken to the Kalhatti Waterfalls to view its beauty. After that, you will be directly taken to Kemmangundi peak which is situated at a height of 1434 m above sea level. Amazing, right? Also, you will be taken to the Z point which is a vantage point in Kemmangundi. It can be reached by trekking on a steep uphill slope. In addition, the trek would take around 50 minutes. Later on, you will be taken to Hebbe Waterfalls which is your last destination in the Chikmagalur itinerary for 2 nights 3 days. Finally, you can return to the hotel and have a sound sleep.

Hebbe Waterfalls

Once you reach Hebbe Waterfalls, you won’t find enough superlatives to describe its stunning beauty. Hebbe Waterfalls is one of the best places to visit in Chikmagalur. It is also quite difficult to reach Hebbe Waterfalls. So, make sure you are well prepared to take some tough routes. Anyways, at the end of the day, all these efforts will be paid once you reach the Hebbe Waterfalls. In addition, people believe that this water contains medical herbs. Also, this place has gained the attention of multiple biologists and scientists. Interesting, right?

Z Point

If you are physically fit to climb up a steep hill, you should definitely gear up for an adventurous trek to the Z point. This place offers some breathtaking views of nature. In addition, you can also choose to ride on a bike through the rocky terrain to experience the thrill of mountain biking. That’s cool, huh?

Day - 03

distance of 5kms

Charmadi Ghat is one of the many western ghats that are known for its outstanding scenery. It is a stretch of about 25 km from Kottigehara of Chikmagaluru to Charmadi of Dakshina Kannada district. To relish the beauty of the Ghat, you can trek to a series of mountains that come within the Charmadi belt.

Ettina Bhuja is one such mountain that is a part of the Charmadi range at an altitude of 1300 m (4,265 ft). It is situated in the Mudigere range of the Chikmagalur district.

Ettina Bhuja meaning Ox’s shoulder is one of the unexplored treks in Karnataka. Locals call this trek as Shishila Gudda trek.

Panoramic views of the Charmadi range and Shishila valley can be seen from the peak. It is surrounded by many more hills like Deepadakallu, Amedikallu, Ombattu Gudda and Jenukallu Gudda.

Had been to Uttarakannada expedition with them. Even though there were around 100 people, they made sure that not more than 20 people of their team were at specific location. They even contacted the other trekking groups in that areas and informed them of our time of arrival so that there won’t be any clashes.hats off to their planning. Coming to the locations, it was dreamy, still can’t believe that I have visited these places. The trek leads , the people i met , the local food…it was a bundle of joy

The best and the best travel company whom I have known so far in Bangalore. They are very good and kind hearted people.
Especially their Uttara kannada expedition package is one of the best you will see. If you are nature lover and loves to explore hidden places in uttara kannada please get touch with them, they are the best in the business.
I have been travelling with them since last one year and there is not even a single bad experience especially in Karnataka.
When they say come as a guest go as a friend they really meant it.
These people has my heart ❤️

I recently went for uttarakannada expedition which happened from Aug12th to Aug15th..

1. There are total 100+ people & organized in very nice way
I feel it's very difficult to satisfy everyone but this is done by organizer.hats off to him for this
2. No compromise on food & Stay. All home stays are too good
3. Uniqueness of this organizer is hidden water falls. You will feel the village life
4. If someone really looking for worthable trip we can go with this without second thought.
5. Many people cried while going back to homes from trip.

Personally felt the amount charged for this trip is very less by comparing the facilities provided by him.

Glad to be part of this.
Looking for many more trips with this team going forward

Thanks alot to the trip Margadasak team & keep doing the same
