- Reach Shimoga/Guaribidanur and quick freshen up and get into a private vehicle.
1. You will not get time to change your dress till we reach Hebbe Falls; so wear your desired clothes before boarding the bus itself. 2. Don't forget to carry polythene covers to pack your wet clothes.
- Places to visit
- Hebbe falls: We will be traveling by jeep for 30 min and followed by a 1 km walk to reach waterfalls. We can get into the water here.
- Kemmanagundi: its beautifully laid-out ornamental gardens, enchanting mountains and valleys views
- Z point peak: Get ready for some mesmerizing views from the Peak we will be here for sunset.

We will start our day pretty early and packup from our hotel in Chikmagalur and head to Coorg.
1.Carry an extra pair of clothes if you want to get into water again in Jhari waterfalls
2.You might encounter leeches so carry packet of turmeric or salt just in case. Once you sprinkle turmeric/salt over a leech, it'll leave your skin and will fall to the ground.
3.Be prepared to walk for a couple of kilometres today.

- Hirekolale lake: We'll be here for the Morning nature walk.
- Mullayangiri peak: Mullyangiri is the highest peak of Chikmagalur.

- Jhari falls: Jhari wateralls are also known as buttermilk falls. You can get into water here
Day 3 - Coorg sightseeing
Bus (AC Semi-Sleeper/Sleeper Bus)
- Have Breakfast and freshen up at the Restaurant and continue our journey towards Coorg sightseeing .
- Dubare elephant camp
- Golden temple The Namdroling Monastery, popularly referred to as 'The Golden Temple' is one of the largest Tibetan settlements in India.
- Around 3 PM, we will head to Mysore to board our bus back to Hyderabad

We Start this from Bangalore. Please let us know ealry if you wish to travel by any other mode of transportation OR if you would be joining from Banglore.

- Initial Payment is NON transferable and NON Refundable
- If you cancel your trip 7 days before the event start date – Trek Voucher worth 80% of the Remaining Payment Component would be given.
- If you cancel your trip Between 7 to 3 days of the event Start date – Trek Voucher worth 50% of the Remaining Payment Component would be given.
- If you cancel your trip Between 2 days to 0 days – No Voucher or refund would be given.
- All cancellations should be notified only VIA email to [email protected]
- Refunds if any would be settled on Wednesday, post-event date.
- No cancellations will be taken over call or whatsApp msg. Please reply in email with payment receipt that you have received at the time of booking.
- No Show . No refund..
- Incase of government orders, harsh weather conditions , protests , landslides or any other unforeseen circumstances , we work out the best possible alternate plans or trips/treks. At times even certain activities are cancelled , the organisation provides the best alternate but no refunds are provided.
- If a trek is called off at the last moment due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh etc.), Offbeat Compass will issue a trek voucher for the full amount and if possible will provide an alternate trek. The voucher can be redeemed upto same amount for the same trek or another trek in the next 365 days from the trek departure date.
- If a trek or trip cannot be completed due to natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh etc.). No refund would be provided.
- Any extra expense coming due to any natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, Train Cancellations etc.), Will be born by customer. Offbeat Compass will not be liable.
Terms and Conditions
Train Travel Guidelines
1. Ticket Booking & Confirmation
We strive to secure confirmed train tickets for all our tours; however, confirmation is subject to availability with Indian Railways, a government-operated service.
2. Included Tickets
All packages starting from Hyderabad include Sleeper Class train tickets by default.
3. Ticket Upgrades
If you prefer to travel in 3AC, 2AC, or 1AC, you may request an upgrade. Additional charges will apply as per current IRCTC rates.
4. Ticket Status Updates
We will keep you informed about your ticket status. If the ticket is not confirmed, we advise you to monitor the booking status regularly.
5. Options for Unconfirmed Tickets
If your ticket remains RAC or Waitlisted (WL) within 48 hours of departure, we recommend opting for Tatkal or Premium Tatkal bookings (subject to availability and dynamic pricing).
If train confirmation fails and a bus option is available, we suggest switching to ensure a smooth journey.
6. Additional Charges
Upgrades, Tatkal, Premium Tatkal, or alternative travel options will incur extra costs as per IRCTC pricing.
We do not charge any service fee for processing Tatkal bookings.
7. Train Booking Process
If confirmed tickets are unavailable during initial booking, we’ll try for Tatkal bookings, which open one day before departure.
Tatkal is first-come, first-served and involves an extra fee. If Tatkal is unsuccessful, we may offer Premium Tatkal or bus travel as alternatives. Any extra costs will be borne by the traveler.
8. Payment Policy
The full balance must be cleared at least 2 days before departure.
Liability & Limitations
We are accountable for the arrangements made directly by us. However, we are not liable for:
Missed trains or buses due to personal delays (though we’ll assist in finding alternatives).
Accidents, health issues, thefts, or losses beyond our control.
Issues caused by third-party vendors like hotels or transport providers.
Failures arising from customer negligence.
Unforeseen disruptions caused by unrelated third parties.
We do not provide travel insurance. We recommend arranging personal coverage for emergencies.
Itinerary & Schedule Changes
While we follow the planned itinerary, unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, strikes) may require modifications.
We reserve the right to adjust the schedule in the interest of safety and logistics. Any changes will be communicated promptly.
Code of Conduct
Substance Use: Possession or use of illegal substances (e.g., weed) is strictly prohibited.
Respect Others: Maintain a cooperative and positive group dynamic.
Be Punctual: Delays impact the entire group.
Eco-Friendly Travel: Dispose of waste responsibly and avoid using plastic. Help us keep nature clean.
