One of the seven holiest cities, Varanasi city is also one of the Shakti Peethas and one of the twelve Jyotir Linga sites in India. Varanasi has been a symbol of spiritualism, philosophy and mysticism for thousands of years and is known for great saints and personalities like Gautam Buddha, Mahavira, Kabir, Tulsi Das, Shankaracharya, and others.

 

Prayagraj: Prayagraj, a city located in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, is a fusion of sanctity, religion, traditions, history, and architecture. It is situated at the confluence of the Rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati, and is considered a holy city in Hinduism. The city is known for hosting the Kumbh Mela, a major pilgrimage and festival that occurs every 12 years.The city has been described in ancient scriptures as ‘Teerthraj’, the holiest pilgrimage center, and is indeed a perfect place to have a soulful escape.

 

Ayodhya: Ayodhya is a perfect destination for tourists who are interested in exploring the rich cultural heritage of India. According to the Hindu scriptures, Ayodhya was the capital of the ancient Kosala Kingdom and the birthplace of Lord Rama, the seventh avatar of Lord Vishnu. The city was ruled by the illustrious King Dasharatha, the father of Rama, and is often described as a prosperous and harmonious kingdom. Centuries later, Ayodhya became a thriving centre for Buddhism during the reign of the Maurya and Gupta dynasties. The city witnessed the construction of several Buddhist monasteries and stupas, attesting to its cultural assimilation and diverse history.

 

Lucknow : Lucknow is the capital and the largest city of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is located on the Gomati River .Lucknow is known for its rich cultural and artistic heritage, and its influence of Persian, Shiite, Arabic and British culture and it's delicious and aromatic dishes like Biryanis and Kebabs

  • Reach Varanasi by afternoon. Pickup from Railway Station/Airport. Shift to our Home Stay / Hotel.
  • Freshen up and get ready to witness the city of temples especially Kal Bhairav & Kashi Vishwanath.
  • Kaal Bhairav Temple: The word "Kaal" means both "death" and "fate". Kaal Bhairav also means the one whom even death Fears It is believed that even death is afraid of Kaal Bhairav.
  • Kashi Vishwanath Temple: One of the famous Hindu Temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva, Kashi Vishwanath temple is located in Vishwanath Gali of Varanasi. This temple was demolished by Aurangzeb (the Sixth Mughal Emperor)who constructed the Gyanvapi Mosque on its site.
  • Will be witnessing to Dashashwamedh Ghat for Ganga Aarti full evening. We at Trikon will give you one of the best experiences of your life as you attend an ‘Aarti’ which will take you to a different world. You will attend the famous The Maha Ganga Aarti post-sunset.
  • Have dinner and rest for the day.

  • Wake up early and freshen up as you will witness the most beautiful and Holy River in India, The River Ganga. A walk along the bank of the River Ganga is a peaceful experience. The boat ride along the river is the best way to get closer to the Holy River. We return back to Dasaswamedh Ghat by boat ride or a walk.  Will be exploring some iconic Ghats too.
  • Have Breakfast and leave for Banaras Hindu University.
  • Leave for Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple and other temples Nearby.
  • Sankat Mochan Foundation was established by Veer Bhadra Mishra in the year 1982, the Mahant (High priest) of the temple and has been working for cleaning and protecting the Ganges river. Each year in the month of April, the temple organizes classical music and dance concert festival titled "Sankat Mochan Sangeet Samaroh", in which musicians and performers from all over India take part.
  • Have Lunch and rest/explore
  • Later we go to the path of the 4 noble truths. Yes you guessed it right, today we leave for Sarnath Temple which is located in just Hindu holy city of Varanasi.
  • Have Dinner and Rest for the Day.

  • Have breakfast in the morning and get ready for journey towards Prayagraj (previously known as Allahabad).
  • Check in to the hotel upon arrival.
  • Visit the Triveni Sangam of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers. Triveni Sangam is a sacred place located in Prayagraj, India, where the Ganges, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati rivers converge. It is believed that a bath here can wash away all sins and free one from the cycle of rebirth1. The confluence is also referred to as Prayag and is a site of religious importance and one of the sites for the historic Kumbh Mela held every 12 years
  • We plan to take a boat ride to the sacred Sangam and back to the accommodation.(Subject to weather) Spend the night in PRAYAGRAJ.

Breakfast, Dinner

  • Good Morning!! Freshen up and start the journey to the birth place of Shri Ram.
  • Explore Ayodhya, located on the banks of the Sarayu river. It is a site of religious importance and attracts many tourists for its rich cultural heritage.
  • Visit Shri Ram Mandir.
  • Spend some time on Sharayu Ghat. 
  • Later we move towards Lucknow for night stay

Breakfast, Dinner

  • Enjoy a full day of sightseeing in city of Nawabs. Explore the historical and cultural significance of the city. 
  • Visit places like  Bada Imambara, Rumi Darwaza, Clock Tower, Chhota Imambara.
  • Spend evening shopping and munching on lucknowi street food. 

After breakfast its time to move back to Mumbai with unforgettable memories.
