  • Proceed to Andharban Dark forest 
  • Finish lunch in between.
  • Start Hiking towards andharban Dark forest and its 14kms one way trek . (7 Hours Approx.) 
  • Finish Trek and move to typical Village Homestay .
  • Reach our Homestay and check into Stay 
  • Finish Dinner at the campsite

Stay :

Our homestay is typical village house! Beds wont be available! All of us has to sleep on floor!. Bedsheets will be provided! Couple of washrooms available. As this is offbeat event Please understand that Stay is necessity not Luxury. 

Trek

Breakfast


  • 04:00am – Wake-up call!!  
  • 05:00 am – Start trek to Devkund waterfall, which is around 6.5 km one way.  
  • 07:00am – Reach Devkund waterfall, take a few pictures, and spend some time at the waterfall.  
  • 08:00am – Return to the homestay and arrive back around 10:00am  
  • Have breakfast and check out of the stay.  
  • Move towards the base city to board the train or bus, and in between finish lunch.  
  • 05:00pm – Reach the station and board the train or bus.
  • Reach your hometown by the next morning.

  • Valid Government ID (for train travel & check-ins)

  • Backpack (40–50L) – comfortable, weather-resistant

  • Daypack (10–15L) – for day treks


👕 Clothing

  • 2–3 quick-dry t-shirts

  • 2 trekking pants or comfortable track pants

  • Light jacket or hoodie (nights may be cool)

  • Raincoat / Poncho (especially during monsoon)

  • Undergarments & socks (3–4 pairs, including woollen socks)

  • Flip-flops/slippers (for homestay/campsite use)

  • Sturdy trekking shoes with good grip

  • An extra pair of socks

  • Limited or no mobile network at Rajmachi; inform family in advance.

  • Keep luggage minimal and manageable as you’ll be trekking with it at points.



🔹 General Policy:

  • No refund shall be made for the initial booking amount under any circumstances.


🔹 Cancellations & Postponements by Organiser (MOW):

MOW reserves the right to cancel or reschedule an event in the following situations:

  • If the minimum number of travellers (8) is not met.

  • Due to uncontrollable external factors such as:

    • Natural calamities (heavy rains, earthquakes, landslides)

    • Strikes, bandhs, curfews

    • Virus outbreaks or government restrictions

    • Other unforeseen emergencies

In such cases, participants may choose to:

  1. Transfer the booking to an alternative available event.

  2. Opt for a full refund (deducting any applicable transportation cancellation charges).

Refunds will be processed via bank transfer within two business weeks.


🔹 Cancellations by the Traveller (You):

▪ Cancellation within 48 hours of event start time:

  • No refund will be issued.

  • Last-minute cancellations due to personal issues (health, work, etc.) will not be entertained.

  • No ticket transfer or date rescheduling allowed.

▪ Cancellation 3 to 6 days before the event:

  • Ticket can be transferred to a friend with prior notice.

  • No refund, but your friend can participate in your place.

 Cancellation 7 or more days before the event:

  • 50% refund of the trip amount (excluding payment gateway charges).

  • Refunds will be processed via bank transfer within two business weeks.

1. Participation & Eligibility

  • Participants must be aged 18 or above. Minors (15–17) must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

  • Basic physical fitness is required, as the itinerary includes moderate trekking.

  • Participants are expected to follow the instructions of the trek leaders and organizers at all times.

2. Booking & Payments

  • Full payment must be made at the time of booking to confirm participation.

  • The initial booking amount is non-refundable under any circumstances.

  • Payment gateway or transaction charges are non-refundable.

3. Travel & Accommodation

  • Sleeper class train tickets (SL class) will be arranged as per availability; seat/berth preferences cannot be guaranteed.

  • Local transportation will be provided in Non-AC vehicles (Tavera/Tempo/Mini Bus).

  • Accommodation will be on a sharing basis:

    • Rajmachi: Basic homestay (shared hall with mats and blankets)

    • Lonavala: Separate tents for men and women at the campsite

4. Food & Beverages

  • Only the meals mentioned in the itinerary (2 breakfasts, 2 dinners – all vegetarian) are included.

  • Participants are advised to carry their own dry snacks and refillable water bottles.

  • Alcohol and drug use are strictly prohibited during the event.

5. Code of Conduct

  • Respect local customs, fellow travellers, trek leaders, and the natural environment.

  • Littering, misbehaviour, or damage to property (homestays, vehicles, campsite) may lead to immediate removal from the event without refund.

  • Participants must comply with safety instructions provided by the guides at all times.

6. Health & Safety

  • Participants must inform the organizers of any pre-existing medical conditions before the trip.

  • Basic first aid will be available, but the organizers are not liable for any medical emergencies.

  • MOW is not responsible for any injury, accident, illness, or loss of life caused due to natural hazards or personal negligence.

7. Itinerary Changes

  • The itinerary is subject to change depending on weather conditions, government restrictions, or unforeseen circumstances.

  • MOW reserves the right to cancel or modify the event without prior notice in such cases. Suitable alternatives or refunds (as per policy) will be offered.

8. Personal Belongings

  • Participants are solely responsible for their belongings throughout the trip.

  • Avoid carrying expensive electronics, valuables, or heavy luggage.

  • MOW is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal items.

  • Meals not mentioned in the itinerary

  • Costs due to unforeseen events (natural calamities, delays, etc.)

3. What is the difficulty level of the trek?
Both treks (Andharban and Devkund) are of moderate difficulty. Participants should have basic fitness and be comfortable walking long distances.

4. What are the age requirements?

  • Minimum age: 18 years

  • Minors aged 15–17 can join if accompanied by a responsible adult

5. How is the accommodation arranged?
Accommodation is a shared homestay in Bhira village with basic amenities. Beds are not provided; participants sleep on the floor with mats and bedsheets.

6. What should I carry?
A detailed list is provided, but essentials include:

  • Valid ID

  • Trekking shoes

  • Backpack & rain gear

  • Personal toiletries & medication

  • Refillable water bottle

7. Is mobile network available during the trek?
Mobile connectivity is limited or unavailable in forest and village areas. Please inform family in advance.

8. What is the cancellation policy?

  • No refund for cancellations within 7 days of departure

  • 50% refund for cancellations 7+ days in advance (excluding transaction fees)

  • In case of cancellation by the organizers, a refund or date transfer will be offered

9. Is this trek safe for solo travelers?
Yes, it’s group-based and managed by experienced trek leaders. Many participants join solo and find the experience welcoming and safe.

10. Can I transfer my booking to someone else?
Yes, up to 3 days before the event, you can transfer your booking to a friend with prior notice to the organizers.

11. Will there be washroom facilities available?
Yes, basic washroom facilities will be available at both the homestay and the campsite. However, please note these are rural locations, and facilities may be minimal.

12. Is alcohol or smoking allowed?
No. This is a strictly no-alcohol, no-smoking trip. Consumption of alcohol or intoxicants during the event will lead to immediate removal without refund.
