The Dudhsagar Trek offers adventurers a thrilling journey through the lush landscapes of the Western Ghats in Goa, India. Here’s an overview:

Location: Dudhsagar Falls is located in the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park, around 60 kilometers from Panaji, the capital of Goa.

Scenic Beauty: The highlight of the trek is the breathtaking Dudhsagar Falls, which translates to “Sea of Milk.” The waterfall cascades down from a height of around 310 meters, surrounded by dense forests, creating a mesmerizing sight.

Trekking Route: The trek to Dudhsagar Falls typically begins from Castle Rock or Kulem Railway Station. The trail takes you through thick forests, streams, and rocky terrain, offering opportunities to spot diverse flora and fauna along the way.

Difficulty Level: The trek is considered moderately difficult, with some challenging sections, especially during the monsoon season when the trails can be slippery. It’s advisable to wear appropriate trekking gear and be prepared for a physically demanding journey.

Best Time to Visit: The best time to undertake the Dudhsagar Trek is during the post-monsoon season (October to February) when the weather is pleasant and the waterfalls are at their majestic best.

Overall, the Dudhsagar Trek offers adventurers a chance to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of Goa’s hinterland, with the stunning Dudhsagar Falls as the ultimate reward for their efforts.
