Day 1 - Arrival in Guwahati - Journey through Shillong to Cherrapunji

MOW (Meet Over The Weekend) reserves the right to cancel an event under the following conditions:
If the minimum number of travellers (8) is not met.
Due to external factors beyond our control, such as natural calamities (heavy rains, earthquakes, landslides), strikes, bandhs, curfews, virus outbreaks or other unforeseen emergencies.
In such cases, the MOW team will inform you about alternative event options.
You can choose to:
Transfer your booking to another available event.
Opt for a full refund (Transportation cancellation charges will be deducted).
All refunds will be processed via bank transfer to the traveller’s account within two business weeks.
CANCELLATION POLICY BY THE TRAVELLER (YOU):
Cancellation within 48 hours of the event start time:
No refund will be provided.
Last-minute cancellations due to personal reasons, such as work or health, will not be entertained.
No ticket transfer or postponement will be permitted.Cancellation between 3 to 6 days before the event:
Tickets can be transferred to a friend. We would be happy to accommodate them, saving you from a financial loss.Cancellation 7 or more days before the event:
50% of the trip amount will be refunded (excluding payment gateway charges).
Refunds will be processed via bank transfer within two business weeks.

Booking & Payment
A minimum advance payment is required to confirm the booking. The remaining amount must be settled before the trip begins.
All payments must be made through authorised methods. Any booking without confirmed payment will be considered provisional.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations made 30 days or more before the departure date: 80% refund
Cancellations made 7–29 days before departure: 50% refund
Cancellations made less than 7 days before departure: No refund
No refund for early departures, no-shows, or unused services.
In case of unforeseen natural events (landslides, roadblocks, weather), refunds or rescheduling will be at the organisers' sole discretion.
Travel & Itinerary
The itinerary is subject to change based on weather conditions, road accessibility, and operational feasibility.
All vehicles will operate on a point-to-point basis only; additional travel requests will incur extra charges.
Any delays or disruptions due to weather, strikes, or political situations are not the responsibility of the organiser.
Accommodation & Meals
Accommodation will be provided on a triple-sharing basis in homestays, tents, and hotels as mentioned.
Specific room or tent preferences are subject to availability.
Meals provided will be as per the inclusions listed; all other food and beverages are to be borne by the traveller.
Safety & Behavior
Participants must follow the instructions of the trek leaders/guides at all times.
Misbehaviour, consumption of drugs or alcohol during travel/trek/camping will lead to immediate removal from the group without any refund.
Organisers are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage incurred during the trip.
Liability Disclaimer
The organisers act only as facilitators for travel, accommodation, and activities and cannot be held responsible for loss, delay, or injury caused by third-party service providers.
Travellers are responsible for their belongings throughout the journey.
Taxes
