Day 1 - Arrival at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) and Transfer to Gangtok

Arrival at Bagdogra and proceed to Gangtok. Check in hotel. Evening free to roam around MG Road (Mall) and local Shopping center. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 2 - Excursion to Changu / Tsomgo Lake

Early morning breakfast and visit Tsomgo / Changu Lake and Baba Mandir, cool, serene water and the picturesque beauty with alpine vegetation all along the way. Tsomgo lake is one of the holy lakes of the region. This is nearly 48 kilometers drive and takes nearly 2 hours. Till April it is full of snow and lay frozen. After that proceed to visit the mysterious Baba Mandir with a legendary story of why an army personnel is worshiped at a temple. Later visit Nathula Pass (supplement of INR 3000 - INR 4000 /- has to be paid on the spot as it is not included in the final costing). Evening back to hotel and overnight stay at Gangtok.

After this eventful day, get back to your room for a peaceful snooze. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 4 - Transfer to Pelling

Early morning breakfast and a drive of approximately 140 kilometres, 04 hours’ drive through scenic road towards Pelling. Pelling is situated at an altitude of 2072 meters / 6800 feet. On a clear day you can get a clear view of Himalayan range with snow-capped mount Pandim, Kumbhakarna, Rathong, Kanchenjunga, Zopuno, Shimbho, Narsing, Sinolchu etc. It is one of the exotic settlements with varieties of Rhododendron, Orchids, historical sites, short trek routes and the magnificent view of Kanchenjunga. Check-in hotel and overnight stay at Pelling.
Day 5 - Pelling Local sightseeing

After breakfast, drive for full day sightseeing of Pelling. The routes are forested and the botanical and zoological richness is inspiring. Kechopalri Lake is one of the holy Buddhist lake and it is believed that any wish in front of the lake comes true. Myth is that when a leaf falls on the placid clear water surface, it is picked by a bird and thus the water surface is always free of leaves. Then visit Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse ruins, the scenic view from the top of the ruin to the mystic heights of Kanchenjunga ranges is something to be cherished. Back to hotel & evening free to roam around the helipad or shopping centre. Overnight stay at Pelling.
Day 6 - Departure from Pelling to Bagdogra Airport

- Rucksack: A sturdy rucksack of at least 60L or a trolley bag for all gear.
- Day Pack: A smaller bag for daily trek essentials.
- Headwear: A sun cap for day and a woolen cap for chilly evenings.
- Thermal Wear: Minimum of 2 pairs of inner thermals.
- Warm Clothing: A warm jacket, a pair of gloves, and a fleece jacket.
- Trekking Pants: At least 2 pairs of durable long pants.
- Socks: 4 pairs, including both cotton and woolen varieties.
- Footwear: Well-insulated hiking shoes with good grip, plus floaters/sandals.
- Rain Protection: A rain jacket or poncho, and a hoodie for unexpected showers.

HOW TO REACH
By Flight:
- The quickest way is to fly to Bagdogra Airport (IXB).
- The flight duration varies based on your departure city.
By Train:
- If you prefer trains, take an Indian Railways train to New Jalpaiguri (NJP) station.
- From NJP, travel to Bagdogra by road (approximately 15 km).
Policy and more
- Booking/Advance Amount (50%):
- If you cancel before 21 days from the departure date, the 50% advance payment is non-refundable. However, it can be utilized as a Credit Note.
- If you cancel between 20 and 21 days from the departure date, the 50% advance payment remains non-refundable.
- If you cancel after 20 days, there will be no refund for the advance amount.
- Remaining/Balance Amount (50%):
- If you paid the remaining 50% balance before 21 days from the departure date, it can be refunded if you cancel before 21 days of departure.
- Exceptions:
- If you fail to show up on the day of departure within the specified timeline, you are not eligible for a refund.
- In cases of government orders, harsh weather conditions, protests, landslides, or other unforeseen circumstances, there will be no refund. However, we usually have backup plans prepared.
- If a trek or trip needs to be aborted midway due to natural calamities or unforeseen circumstances (e.g., rain, snowfall, earthquake, strikes), no refund will be provided.
- Any additional expenses resulting from natural calamities or unforeseen circumstances are not covered by TripNaari.
