Welcome to the heart of Mumbai's rich history and heritage as we embark on a captivating journey through the iconic Fort area. This heritage walk will transport you back in time to an era when this bustling metropolis was just beginning to take shape, and the British colonial presence in India was at its zenith.

The Fort area, a name that echoes with the remnants of a bygone era, was once a formidable fortification. Over the years, it has evolved from a fortified stronghold into the vibrant urban center that we know today. As we stroll through these historic streets, we will uncover the fascinating stories and architectural treasures that have shaped the narrative of Mumbai's development.

From the grandeur of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) building to the tranquil beauty of St. Thomas’ Cathedral and the enchanting Victorian Gothic Ensemble of the Oval Maidan, this heritage walk will unravel the layers of history, culture, and architecture that define this remarkable part of Mumbai.

Join us as we step back in time to explore the heritage and legacy of Fort Mumbai, a journey that will leave you with a deeper appreciation for the city's past and a renewed sense of connection to its vibrant present. Let's begin our exploration of the enchanting stories that lie within the walls of this historic enclave.

Trekking with wandering souls was a safe and good experience. The team leads were genuinely caring and made sure of everyone's safety despite having a large group. The trek was well designed and it also had an introduction session which served as an icebreaker and made the batch more friendly towards eachother. The crowd was decent and blending, you can meet and make new friends. It was my first time trekking with a group and I would join them soon 💪🏽👍🏽

I had the opportunity to travel with wandering souls to during the monsoon. Everyone was taken care of in the group with breakfast and lunch provided at right time. I have been travelling for the last 8 years but it was the first time travelling with a trek organiser. Wandering souls washed away the bias that I had against tour organisers. Everyone was given opportunity to take their own time. They also had team building exercises which were really fun and helped set the mood for a group activity. Planning the next trip with them soon.

My first experience with Wondering soul. And we really had great experience. Our host Sidhart Tiwari is the best treak leader. Very kind, suppportive, down to earth, helpful, joyful in nature. He is the best example of how the trek leader should be. All the best Sid for your future journey. We would love to travel again. See you soon. Take care.
