About Us

Crazy Mountaineers has emerged purely out of the love for the hills. We are from Sankri, Uttarakhand and since, it is a base camp for a lot of expedition (Kedarkantha, Harkidun, Bali Pass, Bandarpunch, Black Peak, Swargarohini, etc) we have been well versed of the routes and have been guiding trekkers for the past 2 decades. We have been practicing organic farming and like to treat our customers with organic food and juices from organic vegetables. For us, the main motivation behind the treks Crazy Mountaineers has emerged purely out of the love for the hills. For us, the main motivation behind the treks have always been the vegetation and we often let our co-trekkers know about the herbs, medicinal plants and other such facts of our region. I have taken birth amidst the mountains, and lived my whole life surrounded by them. The treks for me are part of my lifestyle and I always try to give a peek into the life inside the hills to all the trekkers. I believe that mountains follow a delicate balance between the beauty that is overwhelming and the danger that seeks discipline. My main motivation comes with knowing people personally and offering them hospitality that stays with them long after they return.
