  • The PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) is designed for passionate PADI Divemaster's looking to advance their career in diving instruction. To enroll in the IDC, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
  • PADI Divemaster Certification: Candidates must hold a current PADI Divemaster certification or an equivalent leadership-level certification from another recognized training organization.
  • Diving Experience: A minimum of 100 logged dives is required, demonstrating a depth and breadth of diving experience.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification: Completion of Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the last 24 months.
  • Medical Fitness: A signed medical statement from a licensed physician within the last 12 months attesting to fitness for diving activities.

  • Exposure suit (wetsuit or drysuit, depending on water temperature)
  • Weight system and weights

Documentation: 

  • Proof of previous certifications (PADI card or equivalent)
  • Medical statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months
  • Identification (e.g., passport or driver’s license)

Educational Materials:

  • PADI Instructor Manual (current version)
  • PADI Guide to Teaching
  • Logbook and notebook
  • Writing materials (pens, pencils, highlighters)

Additional Essentials:

  • IDC/OWSI Training Fees: ₹188,800 including GST (Candidates must pay this directly to the institute).
  • PADI Fees: 1679 AUD (Candidates must pay this directly to PADI).
  • If you are undergoing MSDT training, the fees will differ from those mentioned above.
  • If you do not have your own equipment, additional equipment charges of ₹1,000 per day will apply.
  • Once paid, fees are non-refundable.
