Jog Falls is a waterfall on the Sharavati river located in Siddapur taluk, Uttara Kannada District and its view point, entry for vehicles and the source of water is located in Sagara taluk, Shimoga district of Karnataka, India.It is the second highest plunge waterfall in India.It is a segmented waterfall which depends on rain and season to become a plunge waterfall. Jog Falls is created by the Sharavati river dropping 253 m (830 ft), making it the third-highest waterfall in India.
The bheemeshwara temple and falls is situated at a distance of 41 km from Jog Falls, and 140 km from Shimoga, the Bheemeshwara temple & waterfall is a sacred pilgrimage site situated at Bheemeshwara village near Kargal town in Karnataka.
Situated on Bhatkal - Siddapura Highway, it is one of the scenic places to visit near Shimoga, and among must-include places in Jog Falls packages.
The specialty of Bheemeshwara waterfalls is that the water never dries out throughout the year. On Maha Shivarathri, there will be a big Puja offered to the Lord by the local people every year. The lush green forests, blue skies as far as the eyes can see, and silence so resounding that you can hear your own breath, surely invite any heart wanting to lose itself in the lap of nature.

Day 0: Departure from Bengaluru
Day 1:
Reach homestay around 8-8.30pm
Freshenup and Have breakfast
Visit to Jog falls front view point -10.30am
Visit to Jog falls British bunglow view point-12pm
Packed lunch time and journey to unchalli falls- 1pm
Reach unchalli falls - 2.30pm
Depart from unchalli falls - 4pm
On the way if time permits any other sight seeing places.
Reach homestay - 6.30pm
Freshnup and Snacks
Day 2:
Freshen up and have breakfast and depart by 9 a.m.
Visit to linganamakku dam - 10am
Reach Bheemeshwara temple and falls at 11.0 a.m.
Mini trek - 1.5km one side with packed lunch
Start descend from bheemeshwara - 1.30pm
Visit to honnemarudu back waters - 3.30pm
Depart to Bengaluru - 6pm
On the way dinner stop either at Sagara or SHIVAMOGGA.
Reach Bengaluru by 6am next day.
Itinerary is subjected to modify and extra places will be add only if time permits.
