Cancellation policy for short trips (less than 2 nights)

• If cancellations are made 10 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellations are made 10 to 5 days before the start date of the trip, 75% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellations are made within 5 to 0 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

Cancellation policy for long trips (2 nights or more)

• If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellations are made 15 to 30 days before the start date of the trip, 75% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellations are made within 15 to 0 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

Note:

1. If treks/events/trips are called off due to natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like heavy rain, heavy snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, protests, pandemic, etc.), TravelMite will provide the best possible alternative solution or issue a voucher for the full amount. This voucher can be redeemed up to the same amount for any of our upcoming treks/trips/events in the next 365 days. No refund will be provided.
2. If an ongoing Trip/trek/event cannot be completed due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, protest, pandemic, etc.). No refund would be provided. 
3. Any extra expense coming due to any natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, protest, pandemic, etc.), Will be borne by the customer. The company will not be liable.
4. If you are paying only the booking amount it won’t be refunded at any point. 

Travel Note

Itinerary Flexibility

- The mentioned itinerary is a reference guide and may vary based on current destination scenarios, weather, traffic, etc.
- Guide services are not included in the package but can be availed at an additional cost.

Hotel Policies

- Check-in and Check-out times are subject to the concerned hotel's policy.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

- In case of heavy snowfall, landslides, or natural calamities resulting in road closures, no refunds will be provided.
- Although we will attempt to assist, refunds or changes are subject to hotel policies and cannot be guaranteed.
- The package cannot be rescheduled or changed under any circumstances. However, you can contact our sales executive to explore possible refund options in exceptional cases.

Liability Disclaimer

- The agency is not responsible for any personal loss, damage to passengers, or mishaps during the tour, including road accidents.

Exclusions

- Entry fees to parks, museums, amusement parks, zoos, theaters, clubs, and temples
- Charges for activities like horse riding, river rafting, and games
- Meals outside the specified hotel
- Travel and medical insurance
- Tourist permit fees (except those mentioned in the inclusions)
- Personal medical kits
- Expenses of a personal nature
- Emergency evacuation costs

Dispute Resolution

- In case of any disputes arising out of or in connection with the tour, please note that Travelmite will not be liable.
 

Important Transportation Notice

Please be aware that commercial and private vehicles are restricted from covering internal areas in Sonamarg, Gulmarg, and Pahalgam due to local union regulations.

Alternative Arrangements:

- Local vehicles can be booked by us or directly on the spot for internal sightseeing in these areas.
- In winters, chained vehicles from Tangmarg to Gulmarg must be booked directly on the spot in case of heavy snow. Your understanding and cooperation are appreciated.
