Policy and Terms

• If cancellation done by participant prior to 45 days of the Event, 10% of the advance amount will be deducted
• If cancellation done by participant prior to 30 days of the Event, 50% of the advance amount will be deducted
• If cancellation done by participant between 15 to 30 days of the Event, 100% of advance amount will be deducted
• If cancellation done by participant between 7 to 15 days of the Event, 50% of whole trip amount will be deducted
• If cancellation done by participant within 7 days of the Event, 100% of whole trip amount will be deducted

Terms and Conditions

• Any additional expenses arising out of unforeseen circumstances like cancellation/ roadblocks/landslides/strike or any other natural causes out of human control or any emergency evacuation expenses will be borne by the travellers
• In case of cancellation of any event due to reasons beyond control (like Natural calamities, riots, political uncertainty, public transport failure etc.), refund shall be payable with respect to the given refund norms.
• Wandering Souls will not be responsible for any losses incurred for any train/air/bus/taxi bookings, hotel bookings or extension to the camp done by clients/participants

The age limit for this trip is 16-45.

Can I come alone?
Yes, many of our participants are solo travellers.

Is it safe for a female solo traveller?
It is completely safe for a female solo traveller as our representatives will be there with you all the time. Moreover, most of our events have 60% female participation.

Do I need prior trekking experience for the Kedarkantha Trek?
The Kedarkantha Trek is suitable for both beginners and experienced trekkers. It is a moderate trek, and our experienced guides will provide guidance along the way. That being said, a good level for stamina and fitness is required to complete the trek without any hassles.

Is travel insurance required for this trip?
No, travel insurance is not mandatory. But it is advisable to have insurance that covers trekking and adventure activities, including emergency medical evacuation.

How physically demanding is the Kedarkantha Trek?
The Kedarkantha Trek is considered a moderate trek. It involves gradual ascents and descents, and trekkers should be reasonably fit to undertake it.

What are the safety measures in place during white-water rafting on the Ganges?
Rafting is conducted by professional guides with extensive experience. Safety equipment and instructions are provided, and participants are required to wear life jackets and helmets.

Is there any additional cost or permit required for the Kedarkantha Trek?
The cost of the trek includes all permits and fees. There are no hidden costs.

What if I have a medical emergency?
We will carry first aid kit with us. The coordinators will be first aid certified. If the problem increases, we will quickly get you to closest medical attention possible.

What is the stay like for this trip?
At Rishikesh we will be staying on double/triple sharing basis. While on Kedarkantha trek we will be staying at guest house/tents on triple/quad sharing basis

Would I get cellular connectivity in Uttarakhand?

You will get cellular connectivity in Rishikesh & Mussoorie and intermittent connectivity during the trek

What type of food will I get in this trip?

The trip primarily offers vegetarian meals. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions or preferences, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. We will be having our Breakfast & Dinners at our stays in Rishikesh. Lunches we will have locally during our road trip and sightseeing trips. All 3 meals will be provided for the duration of the trek i.e. from Day 1 Dinner till Day 5 Breakfast
