  • Day 0 is applicable only if you choose to start your Kedarkantha Trek from Delhi. Please note that prices differ for departures from Delhi and Dehradun, so it’s advisable to confirm with your Destination Expert before booking.
  • We depart from Delhi (RK Ashram/Kashmiri Gate ISBT/Akshardham Metro Station) between 9 PM and 11 PM, traveling in a Volvo AC bus with semi-sleeper/chair seats.
  • You can upgrade your seat from a Semi-sleeper/Chair to a Sleeper for an additional fee.
  • There will be a pit stop for dinner at a decent roadside restaurant. (Dinner at your own)
  • The overnight bus journey will bring you to ISBT Dehradun early the next morning, around 5 to 6 AM.

  • At 7:00 Am, Meet our team in Dehradun and start your journey to Sankri.

  • The drive from Dehradun to Sankri covers approximately 200 km and takes around 8-9 hours.

  • Attend a briefing session hosted by the Trek Leaders, followed by a delicious breakfast.
  • Begin your adventurous journey and set off for the trekking expedition after breakfast.
  • Cross several high-altitude suspension bridges and pass through small villages along the way.
  • The trek spans 4-5 kilometers and typically takes around 4-5 hours to complete.
  • Arrive at Juda Ka Talab, a lake of mythological significance to Lord Shiva.
  • Set up camp a few hundred meters from the lake for the night and enjoy a starlit sky for your nighttime gaze.
  • Dinner will be served at the Juda Ka Talab campsite, and an overnight stay will be included.

  • Begin your trek before dawn, using your headlamp to light the way. The trek to the summit will start early in the morning, around 2:00 AM.
  • The initial section of the trail is steep and challenging.
  • Follow the lead of your experienced trek guide and fellow trekkers towards the Kedarkantha Summit.
  • Be mindful of the icy and snowy conditions on the trail, As we ascend towards Kedarkantha Peak, we will face intense winds and cold conditions.
  • Step carefully and use trekking poles if necessary for added stability.
  • Upon reaching the summit, we'll witness a breathtaking sunrise along with stunning panoramic views.
  • After spending time at the summit, we'll descend back to Kedarkantha Base Camp in the next few hours.
  • A hot lunch will be served upon arrival at the camp to refresh and energize you.
  • Post-lunch, we will continue trekking down to Juda ka Talab Campsite for an overnight stay.

Dehradun is well-connected by all modes of transportation, including flights, trains, and buses. Here's how you can reach Dehradun from anywhere in India:

By Air: Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun (DED)

Dehradun has its own airport, Jolly Grant Airport, which is about 25 kilometers from the city center. You can take a flight to Dehradun from major cities in India. From the airport, you can hire a taxi or use other local transportation to reach our pickup location in Dehradun.

By Train: Dehradun Railway Station (DDN)

Dehradun Railway Station is well-connected to major cities across India. Trains are a convenient and budget-friendly option to reach Dehradun. Several express and superfast trains connect Dehradun to major cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata.

By Bus: Dehradun ISBT

Dehradun is well-connected by buses to major cities and towns in North India. You can take a government or private bus from your starting point to Dehradun. Government buses are generally cheaper, while private buses may offer more amenities and comfort.

 

  • If cancellation is made 30 days or more before the Date of Travel, 25% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees
  • If cancellation is made between 29 days to 16 days before the date of travel, 50% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees
  • If cancellation is made between 7 days to 15 days before the date of travel, 80% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees
  • If cancellation is made within 7 days before the date of travel, the total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees
  • If payment is not made as per the schedule provided in the first booking confirmation Email, Sky Hike reserves the right to cancel the booking after attempting to get in touch with you. Refunds would be as per the package Cancellation policy
  • Transfer your Trek/Trip (any Trek/Trip, within 2 months of your Date of Travel) to your friend before 15 days of your Date of Travel
  • 70% cash voucher in the form of 'HikeCoin' for any other Trip/Trek for one year, If we are informed before 20 days of the date of travel (1 Rupees = 10 HikeCoin)
  • 80% cash voucher in the form of 'HikeCoin' for the same Trip/Trek for one year. If we are informed before 20 days of the date of travel (1 Rupees = 10 HikeCoin)
  • The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days
  • While entering passenger names during the booking process, Do ensure that they exactly match the names on the travel documents (e.g. Aadhar Crad/PAN card/ Passport/Voter ID card/Any Identity Card) that you will be carrying for the Trip/Trek
  • The passenger names in the booking form should be exactly as per Adhar Card. Sky Hike will not bear any liability for the name change fee if incorrect names and ages have been added at the time of booking
  • In case your package needs to be canceled due to any natural calamity, weather conditions, etc. SkyHike reserves the right to deny a refund request in the event of a disaster, depending on the nature of the disaster and its impact on the organization
  • SkyHike reserves the right to modify the itinerary at any point, due to reasons including but not limited to Force Majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, cancellation rescheduling, closure of /entry restrictions at a place of visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we will not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this

Q: What happens if I choose the Kedarkantha Package from Delhi?

A: If you opt for the Kedarkantha Trek package from Delhi, we will arrange a comfortable Volvo bus with semi-sleeper chairs. You will be picked up from either Kashmiri Gate ISBT or Akshardham Metro Station in the evening between 10 and 11 PM. The bus journey will last through the night, and you’ll arrive at ISBT Dehradun early in the next morning, around 5 to 6 AM. From there, Our representative will greet you and arrange for your transfer to Sankri via a Tempo Traveller, Bolero, or another group vehicle. Your trek will then proceed according to Dehradun's (above) itinerary.

When it's time to return, our representative will drop you off at ISBT Dehradun, and we will arrange your Volvo AC bus tickets (semi-sleeper/Chair) back to Delhi, ensuring you arrive in Delhi by early morning.
