The trek would begin from Dargaan which is a 6 to 7 hours drive from Dehradun. You see beautiful valleys, ancient villages and lush forest cover throughout the journey folowed with the "Tons River". The village Dargaan is situated at an Altitude of 6,400 ft giving a beautiful view of Chainsheel Paas and Giant Himalayas of Pine and Deodar tree. Upon arriving you would be checked into our 20 years old wooden Homestay where you will be staying for the night. Your are most likely to be arriving late in afternoon hence you would have the evening to yourself wherein if not to tired you can explore the beautifull village & Apple Orchids out there. Later, a briefing session will be conducted before you retire for the night post a hearty dinner.

As the morning unfolds, gear up for the first day of the trek. Post breakfast at around 8 in the morning, you will start the trek. With your lunch carefully packed, you are noew ready to kick start the trek. This trek would take you through the local Apple and Plum orchids, Oak, Pine & Deodar Jungle, lush green meadow coming across a couple of old shepherd's huts then gradually climb to the campsite. Settled amidst the beautiful meadow, the campsite perched at an elevation of approx 3450mts above sea level is surrounded with a stunning view of snow-laden peaks as you settle in for the day. The heady scent of nature will completely revive you from the moderately steep climb. Apart from the captivating view of Bandarpoonch, Swargarohini, Kala Nag and Ranglana peaks, you would also have a chance to experience the rich and rare flora and fauna. Being located in the Govind Prashu Vihar National Parkand Wildlife Sanctuary, the trek is a blessing. The evening would be packed with some fun team building activities followed by a scrumptious dinnner.

Today you make the final push towards the summit. Post breakfast, making your way through an enchanting meadow trait. The route goes on the western ridge of the mountain and it gets very sleep at multiple points. Climb in a Zigzags Way in such places. A 360 degree panoramic view of the snow capped peaks of Garhwal Himalayan Ranges would greet you from the Summit. After spending some time on the summit, retrace your way to the Kedarkantha Base camp. If time permits, a temple visit of Lord Shiva, Maa Parvati and Lord Ganesha can be scheduled. Laterm with a lip smacking dinner in your belly, tuck yourself in your cosy camps, underneath the blanket of a billion stars.

This morning you will begin to trek down towards Sankri. Start your day with a healthy breakfast and trek down back on a well-marked trail. The trail is beautifully laid on the gentle slopes between Oak, Maple and Pine forests. The descant is sleep on same on some stretches so you will need to stay cautious. Arrive in Sankri in the evening and stay overnight at the Homestay / Guesthouse.

This day brings an end to this 5 day Himalayan adventure. We would start early in the morning, post breakfast since the journey takes at least 10 hrs. This would exclude lunch.
