We begin our journey from Kochi then move to Munnar, a place adorned with emerald tea gardens,

Later at Alleppey, known as the ‘Venice of the East,’ unwind on a Shikara as you traverse serene backwaters.

Day 1 - Kochi
Arrival at Kochi Airport or Railway Station, where our Trip Leader will warmly greet you.
- After a warm welcome and a brief introduction with the trip captain and fellow travelers, we will begin our journey towards the hotel.
- Today, immerse yourself in the wonders of the Onam Festival, where vibrant parades, dazzling fireworks, and thrilling boat races light up Kerala. The festivities peak on Thiruvonam, honoring the return of the legendary King Mahabali. Don’t miss the captivating traditional dance and martial arts performances, including the lively Pulikali (tiger dancing) and the dramatic Kathakali, which bring local legends to life.
Today marks the celebration of Thiruvonam, the pinnacle of the Onam Festival. Our day begins with a visit to the Vamana Moorthy Temple in Trikkakkara village, a place of great spiritual significance, where we’ll witness the vibrant Pooram Celebration. After immersing ourselves in the festive atmosphere, we’ll savor a traditional Sandhya Thali.
In the evening, we’ll watch the preparations of Pulikali and other folk performances, followed by the grand Onam festival procession, a true celebration of Kerala’s rich harvest traditions.
To wrap up the day, we’ll explore the historic Fort Kochi, visiting Fort Kochi Beach, the Portuguese colonies, and discovering charming cafes in the area.
NOTE :You can join us from any city in India, and we will help you by arranging your flight or train tickets to get to the starting point of your journey, as well as making sure you have transportation from the drop-off point to your final destination.
Day 2 - Munnar
Breakfast, Dinner
Today, we venture into the heart of Kerala’s hill country, Munnar, renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, lush tea gardens, and cool climate.
Tea Plantations: Begin your day with a visit to the sprawling tea plantations that carpet the hillsides of Munnar. Walk among the verdant fields, learn about tea processing, and breathe in the fresh mountain air.
Mattupetty Dam: Marvel at the scenic beauty of Mattupetty Dam, nestled amidst rolling hills and dense forests. Enjoy a tranquil boat ride on the reservoir or embark on a nature walk to spot native wildlife.
Echo Point: Experience the natural wonder of Echo Point, where the scenic beauty is enhanced by the echo phenomenon. Shout out your name and listen as it reverberates across the hillsides.
Tea Museum: Immerse yourself in the history and culture of tea at the Tea Museum, where you can learn about Munnar’s legacy as a center of tea cultivation through informative exhibits and demonstrations.
Spend the night in comfortable accommodations in Munnar.
Day 3 - Kolukkumalai
Breakfast, Dinner
- Enjoy a picturesque drive from Munnar to Thekkady, winding through lush valleys and spice-scented plantations.
- Explore a local spice garden and immerse yourself in the aromatic world of Kerala’s spices. Learn about the cultivation and medicinal properties of cardamom, pepper, cinnamon, and more.
- Get up close and personal with gentle giants at an Elephant Camp, where you can interact with these majestic creatures, feed them, and even take an elephant ride through the jungle.(Own Expense)
- Witness the captivating art forms of Kerala with a traditional Kathakali dance performance, where elaborate costumes and expressive gestures bring ancient stories to life. Experience the adrenaline-pumping martial art of Kalaripayattu, showcasing skilled movements and breathtaking combat techniques.

Day 4 - Varkala
Munroe's Backwaters
and Varkala's Coastal Magic

Get ready for a day filled with exciting adventures as we delve into the wilderness of Periyar National Park at Thekkady and later, explore Munroe Island and Varkala.
- Check-out from your hotel in Thekkady
- Later we go to Periyar national park (Safari cost is not included in package).
- Depart from Periyar and head towards Munroe Island.Embark on an exciting kayaking adventure amidst the tranquil backwaters of Munroe Island (At your own cost)
- Begin your journey towards Varkala, a coastal paradise known for its stunning cliffs and golden beaches.Head to Varkala Beach, where the cliffs offer breathtaking panoramic views of the Arabian Sea.Spend some leisure time strolling along the coastline.
- After sunset,Return to your hotel for a restful night’s sleep, cherishing the memories of a picturesque sunset in Varkala.
Day 5 - Alleppey
Today, embark on a mesmerizing journey through the tranquil backwaters of Alleppey, followed by a seamless transfer back to Kochi , where your Kerala adventure comes to a close.

- Embark on a picturesque journey to Alleppey, renowned for its tranquil backwaters and enchanting houseboat cruises
- Arrive in Alleppey and proceed to board your traditional Shikara boat.Drift along the serene backwaters, marveling at the lush greenery and quaint villages that line the waterways
- After your Shikara experience, bid farewell to Alleppey and commence your journey back to Kochi.
- After reaching kochi,Will drop you at Kochi Airport/Railway Station.

- No cancellations will be taken over call or whatsApp msg. Please reply in email with payment receipt that you have received at the time of booking.
- No Show . No refund.
- If remaining payment is not received 7 days before the event start date, Your slot is assumed to be cancelled.
- Incase of government orders, harsh weather conditions , protests , landslides or any other unforeseen circumstances , we work out the best possible alternate plans or trips/treks. At times even certain activities are cancelled , the organisation provides the best alternate but no refunds are provided.
- If a trek is called off at the last moment due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh etc.), Offbeat Compass will issue a trek voucher for the full amount and if possible will provide an alternate trek. The voucher can be redeemed upto same amount for the same trek or another trek in the next 365 days from the trek departure date.
- If a trek or trip cannot be completed due to natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh etc.). No refund would be provided.
- Any extra expense coming due to any natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, Train Cancellations etc.), Will be beared by customer. Offbeat Compass will not be liable.
