Kuari Pass trek, famously known as Lord Curzon trail, is one of the most adventurous and popular treks in Uttarakhand. Situated in Garhwal Himalayas at an altitude of 12,516 feet, Kuari Pass offers spellbinding views of Dronagiri, Chitrakantha, Chaukhamba, Tali top, Neelkanth, Trishul, Nanda Devi, etc. We will start the trip in Rishikesh and cover Joshimath, Dhak, Gulling, Khullara and Tali top to reach the magnificent Kuari Pass. Later, we will return to Rishikesh via Dhak Village. While on the trail, you will get to witness the astonishing views of sacred Indian rivers like Bhagirathi and Alaknanda. Kuari Pass is famous for winter treks or snow expeditions and you can enchant your soul with the scenic views of some of the most magnificent Himalayan peaks and starry nights.

Everyone is expected to assemble at goSTOPS Rishikesh. The journey starts in a private vehicle and takes you to Joshimath. The drive is a long one but the surrounding beauty keeps you busy throughout. Get mesmerized by the various picturesque routes along the way. Upon reaching Joshimath, check into the hotel and freshen up. Evening will be free for exploration. Meet your fellow travelers, have a hearty chit- chat around the warm bonfire and enjoy the dinner. There will be an overnight stay at the hotel.

Start your journey to Dhak Village early in the morning. It’s a 12-km drive. Upon reaching Dhak, meet your trek leader and begin your trek to Gulling. It’s a 6-km trek and will take around 4-5 hours to reach the campsite. On your way, get awestruck as you witness beautiful peaks such as Dronagiri, Hathi Parvat and Gauri Parvat. Upon reaching the campsite, check in and freshen up. Evening will again be free for exploration. You can treat your eyes to the beautiful view of different peaks all around. Enjoy the dinner. There will be an overnight stay in camps.

Wake up early, refresh yourself with a delicious breakfast and resume your journey. As the trek continues, you discover mesmerizing views of peaks, oaks, rhododendrons (mostly pink and white) and walnut forests. Enjoy your lunch while looking at the magnificent Mt. Nanda Devi and Mt. Dronagiri. Upon reaching the campsite, freshen up and have an early dinner. The next day is going to be extremely exciting as you will be heading towards your final destination- Kuari Pass. There will be an overnight stay in camps.

After a delicious breakfast, start your trek again. Moderately difficult, the trek trail will pass through the rolling snowfield to reach Kuari Pass. Once you reach there, witness the breathtaking 360° view of peaks such as Kedarnath Peak, Kedar Dome, Chaukhambha, Neel Kantha, Mukut Parvat, Ghori Parvat, Hathi Parvat, Dronagiri, Nanda Devi and many more. It is surely going to be an unforgettable experience. Spend some leisure time at the spot before lunch and then start trekking back towards the campsite. Enjoy your dinner. There will be an overnight stay in camps.

Wake up early and get mesmerized by the beautiful sunrise. After a sumptuous breakfast, head towards the Skiing Capital of India- Auli. On your way, stop at the stunning Tali Lake. Upon reaching Auli, you will be driven to Joshimath where you can check in to the hotel and freshen up. It’s day 5 and you have definitely made some new friends on the trip. Spend the evening with them and enjoy the dinner together. There will be an overnight stay at the hotel.

By Air: Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun serves as the nearest airport to Rishikesh. Visitors can take a direct flight to Dehradun from Mumbai or Delhi or connecting flights from anywhere in India. Local vehicles can be availed from outside the airport to reach Rishikesh by road from Dehradun.
By Train: Rishikesh Junction Railway Station is well-connected to all the surrounding major cities. Visitors can easily find frequent trains to Rishikesh from Delhi and Dehradun.
By Road: Rishikesh is well connected by roads to all major cities and towns, so visitors as per their choice and comfort can take the bus to reach Rishikesh smoothly. Rishikesh is connected to Chandigarh, Delhi, Dehradun, and Nainital through a good network of roads.
