During our journey of 7 Days in Leh we will be witnessing the iconic Magnetic Hill, the turquoisecoloured Pangong Lake, the con½uence of two mystical rivers, ancient and awe inspiring monasteries, the highest passes and few beautiful villages such as Hunder and Tu

Day 1 - Fly To Leh (11400 ft)

The ½ight to Ladakh is absolutely scenic. Arrive in Leh on Day 1 as per your preference and we will pick you up from the airpo . You get a birds-eye view of the entire city and the layers of snow-clad mountains. You will feel a drop in the temperature the minute you land at the Leh airpo , which is also one of the
highest airpos in the world. Collect your bags and check in to your hotels. TGE organiser will be at hotel to welcome you.
Today’s day is extremely impo ant for acclimatisation, so try to stay indoors as much as possible and try not to exe yourself. In the evening we will take you for a beautiful sunset to Leh Palace and Namgyal Monastery (Tsemo). The colo½ul ½ags ½u‰ering in the air and the view of the entire city from Namgyal Monastery is not to be missed. Drink plenty of ½uids during the day to help you with acclimatization and prepare yourself for upcoming adventure.
Note: If you are arriving early in the morning, breakfast can be arranged at the hotel itself at an additional cost on INR 150 Rs. Bu‰et Breakfast time is between 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM. Post that, you can order from the menu.
Day 2 - Leh Sightseeing

Today we spend the day exploring the vibrant capital of Ladakh, Leh. Leh is a powerhouse of beauty and culture. Roaming around the city and nearby will help you get acclimatize with the weather and high altitude.
We will sta the morning by visiting Shanti stupa, a symbol of peace. A‰er that, we will take you for a drive on Srinagar-Leh highway where you can seek
blessing of Guru Nanak Dev at Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, nd the illusion of magnetic hill for yourself and witness the con½uence of Indus and Zanskar. We will also be visiting the Hall of Fame, a museum constructed by the Indian
Army in memory of the brave Indian soldiers who laid down their lives defending the motherland in the Indo-Pak wars. The Hall of Fame museum is located on the Leh-Kargil Road, about 4km from the city of Leh.
We return to Leh in the evening and spend some quality time in the market. For dinner we will recommend must try local cuisines and famous not to missed cafe's in the market. We will also recommend local shops for souvenirs.
Day 3 - Leh to Hunder(Nubra Valley) via Khardung La & Diskit Monastery (125Kms, 6 hrs)

Post breakfast, we check out of the hotel & sta our journey to Nubra Valley through Khardungla, which is amongst world's highest motor able roads at 17580 feet above sea level ( Fun fact: the highest pass is Umling La, which passes through the Umlingla Top in Ladakh region at a height of over 19,300 feet). At Khardungla pass the snow capped peaks and the mountain views are amazing. Gateway to the remote Nubra and Shyok valleys, the mountain pass holds a strategic signi cance as it enables supplies to the Siachen Glacier.
En route we visit Diskit Monastery; which was founded in the 14th Century, and is one of the largest of the Buddhist Monasteries. For adventure lovers, there is
the thrill of ATV rides at high altitude sand dunes of Nubra valley ( at your own expense)
We reach Hunder in the evening. The village of Hunder is situated like an oasis amidst the cold dese of the Nubra Valley. The gorgeous silver sand dunes are
located at an altitude of 4000m and are bounded by snow-capped mountains. It is home to Bactrian Camels. Hunder lies on the ancient silk route, once an
impo ant international trade route. Today it is one of the most strategic points located close as it is to the Siachen Glacier, the world highest ba‰le groundbetween India and Pakistan.
For the night, we have arranged accommodation in a Boutique farmstay
Day 4 - Hunder to Turtuk and back to Hunder (85 Kms, 2hrs (one side))

Tu uk is the last village to which travel permits are issued for tourists in Nubra valley. Located at an altitude of 9846 ‰ it is inhabited by the Balti people of Tibetian Decent. The Beautiful village of Tu uk is located at the edge of Shayok
valley which is pa

of Baltistan which was under control of Pakistan. The interesting story that goes around Tu uk by
elders is about how one day when they went to bed in night they were in Pakistan and when they woke up they were pa of India. To enter Tu uk you have to cross a wooden bridge on top of a river , surrounded with apricot trees, this village is ce
ainly one of most beautiful and colo½ul villages in our route.
We have arranged lunch at the home of a local family, where you experience the local Balti cuisine along with some interesting conversations with them. . Optional Activities: If possible, we will arrange a visit to Diskit Monastery to a‰end the morning prayer.
Day 5 - Hunder to Pangong Tso (170 Kms, 5 hrs)

of the trip, the beautiful Pangong lake. The road from Hunder to Pangong Tso (Tso means Lake in
Tibetan) takes about 5 hours and goes alongside the River Shyok till Shyok village. Pangong Lake is situated at a height of 14,270 ‰ above sea level and is said to be one of the highest saline water lake in the world. Lying almost on the
Indo-Chinese border, a pa of it falls in India, while the other is in China. The
beauty of the lake is such that it has been a cinematic backdrop for the popular movie, 3 Idiots. In fact, there is a 3 Idiots Point in the area, where the famous yellow scooter from the movie's climax is stationed. The lake is about 5 km wide at its broadest point and about 134 km in length. The Pangong Tso Lake is a breeding ground for di‰erent types of birds, including migratory ones. During the summer, the bar-headed goose and Brahminy Ducks are commonly spo‰ed. Fishe such as False Osman and Kunar Snow Trout are found in the lake
Today we spend the night at a beautiful co‰age stay beside lake. Those interested can venture out in the night to see the sky lit by uncountable stars and of course, the milky way

After breakfast we drive back to Leh by the o‰ beat route of Chang La. Get ready for a bumpy road journey. En route we visit Thiksey and Shey Monastery and as per everyone's preference can also take a sho detour to Hemis Monastery if interested.
We spend our last evening in Leh, in the market, where you can buy souvenirs for your near & dear one's. Over an amazing dinner, we will end our trip with loads of new memories, friendships and stories.

HOW TO REACH
By Air (Recommended) The nearest airport is Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport located in Leh. This airport is just 3.8 km away from the main city. It is well connected with many international airports in India like Delhi and Mumbai
By Road From Jammu and Kashmir or from Manali, if you're planning to approach Leh in a bus, get ready for an adventurous bumpy ride. It’s got what it takes to become the ride of a lifetime and will take at least 4 days (starting at New Delhi).
Policy and more
- The advance amount is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
- Full Payment of the trip cost must be made before the trip begins. Pending Payments may eventually lead to the cancellation of the trip.
- The IDs will be verified before boarding. No boarding shall be entertained without a valid Govt. ID.
- The transfer of the bookings is not permitted. Only the names mentioned at the time of confirmation shall be allowed to travel.
- No refunds shall be made towards any inclusion(s) not availed by the Client.
- Travelers must take care of their luggage & belongings. The management shall not be accountable for missing items along the tour.
- The time of departure is stated & fixed. All travelers must update their status with the Trip Coordinator(s), & report at the pickup point 30 mins prior to the scheduled departure.
- The Air Conditioning will be switched off in the hills. Also, during the trip, it shall be the driver’s discretion to put off the AC as & when required, considering the traveler's safety & ease of travel along uneven & dangerous routes.
Terms and Conditions
IDENTITY PROOF
In keeping with Government regulations, we request all guests (on single/double/triple occupancy) to carry a photo identity to present on check-in. Foreign nationals are required to present their valid passport and visa. Indian nationals can present any government issued photo identity address proof card e.g. driving license, passport, Aadhar card or voter’s ID card. PAN Card will not be accepted as the above. Also do keep handy proof of corporate affiliations, if you have made a corporate booking.
NO SMOKING
- The Government of India has introduced a ‘no smoking’ rule for hotels, restaurants and all public places. This means smoking is prohibited in all parts of the campsite except in designated areas.
PAYMENT POLICY
- 50% payment at the time of Confirmation. Balance payment 24 hours prior to Departure.
- Please note that the room/s and the rate will be confirmed subject to availability, at the time of receipt of the advance deposit details.
CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT POLICY
- Our check-in time is 2 pm and our check-out time is 10 am.
- Check-in Early/Late, or sleep in and check-out late, we will be happy to oblige however is subject to availability. Both may entail a nominal additional charge.
- If the behaviour of any guest is likely to cause distress or harm to them or others, our member of staff or other team members, our on ground Guide/Staff reserve the right to terminate their tour at any time and they will have to make their own arrangements; we will not be liable for any expenses incurred as a result. We will not entertain any claims arising in case such actions are taken by our staff.
- The guests are responsible for their belongings. For any loss/damage Travelmite/third party will not be held responsible.
Travelmite shall not be responsible for any delays or alterations in the program or indirectly incurred expenses in cases such as natural hazards, accidents, breakdown of machinery, weather conditions, landslides, political closure, or any untoward incidents.
- We do not provide any insurance policy to cover the expenditure on sickness or accidents or losses incurred due to theft or other reasons.
- Numerous factors such as weather and road conditions the physical ability of participants etc. may bring alteration in the itinerary. We reserve the right to make necessary changes in the schedule in the interest of safety, comfort and general well-being!
