Day 1: Arrival in Varanasi – Transfer to Prayagraj via Sitamarhi
- Arrival: Upon arrival at Varanasi Airport, you will be greeted and welcomed by our tour representative.
- Transfer to Sitamarhi: Drive to Sitamarhi, a significant site associated with Mata Sita, who spent 11 years here at Valmiki Ashram. Visit the beautiful temple dedicated to Mata Sita and the towering statue of Lord Hanuman, enhancing the peaceful, devotional environment.
- Drive to Prayagraj (Kumbh Mela): Continue your journey to Prayagraj, where the Kumbh Mela awaits.
- Accommodation Check-in: Upon arrival, check into your pre-booked hotel or tent accommodation at the Kumbh Mela grounds.
- Overnight Stay: Rest overnight to prepare for an early start the next day.
Day 2: Witness the Royal Sahi Snan of the Naga Sadhus at Sangam
- Early Morning (2 AM Onwards): Begin the day before dawn, setting out on foot to the sacred Sangam – the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati rivers.
- The Royal Sahi Snan Experience:
- Witness the Naga Sadhus take the holy dip in a vibrant procession, known as the Sahi Snan. The Naga Sadhus, their bodies smeared in ash and their expressions intense, enter the waters with the resounding chant of "Har Har Gange," bringing to life the energy of faith and devotion.
- The first dip at sunrise is considered the most auspicious, a powerful and unforgettable experience.
- Personal Bathing Opportunity: Following the Sadhus’ dip, devotees can also immerse themselves in the sacred waters, as it is believed to wash away all sins.
- Morning Activities: Feed the poor as an act of charity, which holds significance in the Kumbh Mela.
- Return to Accommodation: After the bathing rituals, return to the accommodation for breakfast and some rest.
