In 2007, Sameer purchased a DSLR camera. It led to a decision to travel through South-East Asia to photograph the people and places. He was fascinated by the local culture and food, and started staying with locals rather than big chain hotels. The more he travelled, the more he wanted explore. Very soon, he had visited Malaysia, Borneo, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Bhutan, Singapore, and parts of the US and Europe. Every trip, he grew bolder, using local buses and staying at home-stays so he could understand local life. Then, he started wondering if he could provide this experience to others? Using his photography skills, his love of food, and constant desire to seek out the best experiences, he formed this company. Sameer’s favourite trip was, and still continues to be, Borneo. He travelled there for the first time in 2012 to experience the canopy walk. What he discovered was a complex history, wonderful friendly locals, and flora and fauna that blew his mind.
