Highlights
Kumara Parvatha is situated in the Western Ghats of Karnataka. At the foothills lies an ancient and famous temple called Kukke Subrahmanya.
The temple is filled with history and holds a lot of importance among the locals.
People from all over the country, especially from South India visit the temple to get their wishes fulfilled by making offerings. Devotees fill the temple premises almost all the time.
Right behind the Kukke Subrahmanya temple, standing tall is Shesha Parvatha, with its thick blanket of lush green forest of the Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuary.

Arrive at the Homestay: Reach the homestay early in the morning, freshen up, and indulge in a hearty breakfast to energize yourself for the exciting day ahead.
Head to Beedehalli Checkpost: Proceed to the Beedehalli checkpost to complete the necessary entry formalities, obtain your permits, and undergo a plastic check to ensure an eco-friendly trek.
Begin the Trek to the Summit: Embark on your journey towards the summit, soaking in the awe-inspiring views of nature, with each step offering breathtaking landscapes that enhance the experience.
Descend to Shesha Parvatha: After reaching the summit, begin your descent towards Shesha Parvatha, where you'll visit the historic Kallu Mantapa, a significant landmark in the area with cultural and historical value.
Recharge at Bhatrumane: Take a refreshing break at Bhatrumane, allowing time to recharge, enjoy a peaceful environment, and regain energy before continuing your trek.
Resume Descent to Kukke Subramanya: Continue your descent and make your way towards Kukke Subramanya town, arriving by late afternoon, feeling accomplished after the day's trek.
After Completing Trek
- Freshen Up: After completing the trek, head back to stay to refresh
- Meal Time: Enjoy a hearty vegetarian meal to regain your energy.
- Departure: Begin your return journey to Bengaluru.

- Toiletries: – comb, towel, soap, tissue paper, Toothbrush and other essentials etc. (if necessary)
- Raincoat or a poncho, Cap/hat, Sleeping bag
- Personal medication if any
- A torch with new batteries (can be managed by mobile light)
- One box if you want to carry energy boosters like Chocolate bars, flavored milk, Juice packs, Glucon-D, etc. should keep waste rappers with self, till you reach back to homestay or bangalore, it is necessary to maintain forest cleanliness as a traveler
- Sweaters/Jacket to bear the cold weather
- Good trekking shoes

- 75% refund if notified via phone conversation 8 or more days prior to the event date.
- 50 % refund if notified via phone conversation 4 to 7 days prior to the event date.
- No refund if the cancellation requested is less than 3 days prior to the event date

- Event Tickets cannot be transferred to another date against cancellation.
- Event Tickets cannot be transferred to another person against cancellation.
- If Trek gets canceled we will refund "Trek Amount" only.
Terms and Conditions
- The advance payment is non-refundable regardless of circumstances.
- The complete trip payment must be settled before the trip commences. Failure to do so could result in trip cancellation.
- Valid government identification is mandatory for boarding. Boarding without a valid ID will not be permitted.
Changing the names on bookings is not allowed. Only individuals listed during confirmation can travel.
Unused inclusions will not be subject to refunds. - Travelers are responsible for their belongings. The management is not liable for any lost items during the tour.
- Departure time is fixed. All travelers must inform the Trip Coordinator(s) and be present at the pickup point 30 minutes before the scheduled departure.
- To ensure the health and safety of fellow passengers, both drinking and smoking are strictly prohibited during the journey.
- Please note that Sahyadri Sanchara cannot be held responsible for delays, program changes, or resulting expenses caused by factors like natural hazards, accidents, machinery breakdowns, weather conditions, landslides, political closures, or unforeseen incidents.
