Upon arrival in Dehradun, the capital city of Uttarakhand nestled at the base of the Himalayan ranges, you'll transfer to Pantwari village by shared taxi. During the drive, relish a delicious lunch at a local restaurant and take in the sights of Kempty Falls, a renowned waterfall in the region. After reaching Pantwari, you'll trek to the Nag Tibba Base Camp. This trek covers a distance of 4 km and takes about 4 hours, with an ascent to an elevation of 7,650 feet. Once at the base camp, check into your pre-arranged tents, where you'll enjoy a hearty dinner surrounded by the serene mountain landscape. This first night in the mountains offers a tranquil retreat amidst the natural beauty of the Himalayas.

Then, embark on a challenging trek to the Nag Tibba Summit, which stands at a breathtaking 9,915 feet. This trek covers a total distance of 12 km, including both the ascent and descent, and takes approximately 11 hours. The summit rewards you with panoramic views of the Himalayan peaks, including Swarga-Rohini, Bandar Poonch, Kedarnath, and Gangotri. After soaking in the stunning vistas, begin your descent back to Pantwari village. Once you’ve completed the trek, you'll be transported to the Dehradun.

HOW TO REACH

- For cancellations made 25 days or more before the departure date, 30% of the total tour cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
- For cancellations made 15 to 25 days before departure, 50% of the total tour cost will be charged.
- For cancellations made 7 to 15 days before departure, 70% of the total tour cost will be charged.
- For cancellations made within 7 days of departure, 100% of the total tour cost will be charged.
- In case of unforeseen circumstances such as government restrictions, health emergencies, or adverse weather conditions, tours and activities may be cancelled. While the operator will attempt to provide feasible alternatives, refunds will not be issued under such conditions.
- Any refund applicable will be processed within 7 business days.
Terms and Conditions
By booking a trek with The Wander Wave, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Booking Confirmation and Payment
- To confirm your participation in the trek, a part payment of 50% is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid as per the due date mentioned in the booking confirmation.
- The booking is considered confirmed only after the part payment is received.
2. Inclusions
- The inclusions of the trek will be strictly as per the itinerary provided before the booking is confirmed. No additional services or inclusions will be provided beyond what is stated in the itinerary.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- No Refunds: Once the booking is confirmed, no refunds will be provided under any circumstances except in the event of a natural calamity or force majeure situation.
- Partial Refund: In the event of a natural calamity or force majeure, a maximum of 70% of the booking value will be refunded. The remaining 30% will be retained to cover operational and administrative costs.
- Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 24-48 Hours after the cancellation notice is provided.
4. No Insurance
- The Wander Wave does not provide any form of travel, health, or accident insurance. Participants are responsible for arranging their own insurance coverage if desired.
- Any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during the trek is the sole responsibility of the participant. The Wander Wave will not be held liable for any such incidents.
5. Risks and Responsibilities
- Participants acknowledge that trekking involves inherent risks and dangers, including but not limited to injury, illness, loss of personal property, or even death.
- The Wander Wave will take all necessary precautions for safety, but participants agree to participate at their own risk.
- Any medical expenses or evacuation costs in case of injury or illness during the trek are to be borne solely by the participant.
6. Changes in Itinerary
- The Wander Wave reserves the right to modify the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to weather conditions, safety concerns, or other unavoidable events. No refunds will be offered for such changes unless a natural calamity occurs as stated above.
7. Conduct and Behavior
- Participants are expected to maintain appropriate conduct during the trek. Any behaviour deemed inappropriate or harmful to the group or the environment may result in removal from the trek without a refund.
8. Force Majeure
- The Wander Wave will not be held responsible for any delays, changes, or cancellations due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, political unrest, or other unforeseeable events.
9. Acknowledgment and Acceptance
- By making the booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. It is your responsibility to ensure that all members of your group are aware of and accept these terms.
