HOW TO REACH
From the Train StationBangalore has two important railway stations - Bengaluru City Railway Station and Yeswantpur Junction. Both railway stations have regular trains running from Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and other major cities. For travelling within Bangalore, there is Namma Metro (with limited connectivity), which is an intra-city rail network set up by the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation
From the AirportBangalore is extremely well-connected by regular flights from Delhi, Mumbai and most other important cities in India and also has international carriers flowing in and out of the Bengaluru International Airport, which is located about 40 kms. from the main city. A taxi from the airport would take about 45 minutes to reach the city
From the Bus StandBangalore is well-connected by a network of buses from cities like Goa, Mumbai, Pune, Coimbatore and Mangalore. The options range from regular buses to air-conditioned, Volvo and sleeper coaches. While some of the buses are run by Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation, there are also a number of private bus operators who run intercity buses to and from Bangalore.

A. The guests can avail 100% free cancellation of their bookings (hostels/workation) until 7 days prior to their check-in date. E.g. If the check-in date is 8th January, then the guest can cancel, for a 100% wallet refund or a 100% refund in the original payment source, till the 1st January. In case a guest opts for a refund to their payment source, the same shall get refunded in 5 to 7 working days.
B. The guests can avail 50% free cancellation of their bookings (hostels/workation) until 4 days prior to their check-in date. E.g. If the check-in date is 8th January, then the guest can cancel, for a 50% wallet refund only, till the 4th January. Please note, the refund in this case shall only be credited to the guest’s The Hosteller wallet account and can be used for any future hostel bookings.
C. The guests shall not get any refund of their bookings (hostels/workation) in case of cancellations made within 4 days to their check-in date or in case of a no-show (i.e. not arriving at the hostel at all).
D. To cancel, the guest can log in to their The Hosteller accounts on the website (www.thehosteller.com) and check for “booking history” in their respective accounts. Upon cancellation, the wallet balance will be immediately reflected with the refunded amount in their The Hosteller account on the website.
E. Any changes in the check-in as well as check-out dates shall not be allowed under any circumstances. The guests shall have to cancel their bookings, on their end & subject to their corresponding cancellation periods, and make a fresh booking in order to change their dates.
F. No transfer of bookings from one hostel to another shall be allowed. The guests shall have to cancel their bookings & subject to their corresponding cancellation periods, on their end, and make a fresh booking in order to change their dates.

The Hosteller Bangalore Brigade Road is pet friendly.
The Hosteller is a chain of backpacker hostels and is well suited for young backpacking travellers. As a brand, we do not recommend families and do not allow all those below 18 years of age to stay with us, nor do we allow admission of kids or infants under 18 years old, even if travelling with legal guardians.
Guests with local IDs are allowed.
Visitor (Non-resident guests) timings: 10 AM to 8 PM only. In case the guest wants to meet the visitor, they can do so in our waiting area or common spaces. Note, visitors are not allowed inside any of the rooms, at any time.
Drugs/Substance/Alcohol abuse is STRICTLY prohibited at all our hostels. In case anyone is found possessing or consuming drugs/alcohol during their stay, strict action shall be taken against him/her and the person would be asked to vacate the hostel immediately and would be blacklisted from staying at our hostels forever.
All our hostels have dedicated smoking areas. Smoking inside the dorms is strictly prohibited.
We cannot guarantee accommodation in the same dorm room in the case of 3 or 4 people travelling together. Allocation of a room in a specific private room category may vary depending on availability. That will strictly be subject to availability until the time of check-in.
