There are more than 2000 species and each has a unique flashing pattern. They are alive for only 2 months of the year in India, May and June. They hatch from their eggs, become the cool flickering bulbs, attract a mate, lay eggs and then die. The eggs then hatch the next may. It’s a mating thing. The male fireflies blink their bum’s silly to attract the female firefly. If you flash a torch on a tree full of fireflies, they go mad. They must think a big firefly has arrived to steal their ladies…
Sandhan valley is Asia’s second largest Canyons in the Sahyadri mountain ranges. It is a very good combination of a canyon and a valley. Located in the Nagar district, near the famous fort Ratangad, Sandhan valley is undoubtedly The Valley of Suspense. - 10:00AM- On Saturday we starts journey from Mumbai (Borivali- Andheri-Sion-Thane-Kalyan bypass)
Individuals joining from Pune:
- 10:00AM - On Saturday we starts our journey from Pune journey to Base village
Individuals joining from Kasara :
- 1:30PM - Meet us at kasara railway station main ticket counter
Further Schedule of Trip
1:00 PM - we will take halt for lunch
2:00 PM - Kasara to kasara pick up location is near ticket counter
4:00-5:00PM :- check in campsite have evening refreshment and high tea
5:00PM - Evening refreshment after that we will go Kokankada point to witness beautiful sunset
6:00PM - Tents allocation
8:00PM - Dinner time
9:00-11:00PM- After dinner we will head to witness fireflies ❤️
11:00PM - Return to campsite bonfire / music/ Games
12:00AM - Sleep Time

11:00: Reach mumbai & Pune (Depends on traffic situations )

In case of cancellation from the organiser’s end (due to Lockdown, Or any Natural calamities including,snowstorms, thunderstorms, floods, landslides, earthquakes, bad weather or unexpected political unrest, terrorism activity, curfews, riots, or government orders), We will Refund the amount in 30 Days
- In case a client wishes to change the trek date, Maharashtra Desha Adventure reserves the right to do so, provided the request is made 30 daysprior to the initial departure date.
- Booking amount is Non-Refundable.
- Refunds will be made within 7-14 working days from the date of cancellation
- The refund amount will be calculated from the total fee, in case any partial payment has been made
- No refund is applicable on cancellation if Advance Amount is Paid to Book the Trek.Cancellation charges are based on the total trek fee, irrespective of the amount paid either full or partial.
- If the cancellation is from the client’s end at any point of time post the.registration refund will be provided as per the details mentioned below:-
- Cancellation made 30 days before the trek/ Trip - 90% refund
- Cancellation made between 29 days and 15 days before the trek- 50% cash refund
- Cancellation made between 14 days and 1 day before the trek– No Refund,
- If the Cancellation is made on the Starting day of the trek or there is no Show on the start day of trek, there will be No Refund
