Day 1 - Kasol to Grahan Village

Assemble at the goStops Kasol and start your Sar Pass trek after meeting the fellow travelers and the trek guide. After a quick briefing session, hike towards the quaint village of Grahan. The Kasol to Grahan Village distance is 9 km and it takes 4-5 hours to reach there. On the trail, get mesmerized by the dense forest of pine trees and cross the wooden bridges to reach the Grahan Village. Upon reaching the village, check in to the homestay and freshen up. Have lunch and explore the local market of the village and try different cuisines at the local cafes. Back to homestay by evening. Have a hearty chit chat session with the fellow travelers around the warm bonfire. Dinner and overnight stay at the village.
Day 2 - Grahan Village to Min Thatch

On the second day of your Sar Pass trekking, have breakfast and start your trek to Min Thatch. Trek for 7 km to reach Min Thatch from Grahan Village. While on the trail one can easily spot Mung Thach, Nagaru, and Sar Top on the mountain to the right. Cross thick dense forest to reach Min Thatch and witness the Chandrakhani stretch and other prominent Himalayan ranges from here. Check into the camps upon reaching and freshen up. Dinner and overnight stay at Min Thatch.
Day 3 - Min Thatch to Nagaru

Wake to a beautiful morning and after hot and fresh breakfast, start your trek to Nagaru campsite. Today the trekking trail is steep and slippery due to the present snow. Upon reaching the Nagaru campsite,check into your allotted camps and freshen up Enjoy the beautiful views of snow capped mountains of parvati valley and the quaint village of Manikaran from the campsite. After a hot dinner, retire for the day.
Day 4 - Nagaru to Biskeri Thatch via Sar Pass

Start the most important day of the Sar Pass trek with hot and fresh breakfast. After a tiring steep climb, reach the top and enjoy the astonishing view of Sar Pass, Deo Tibba & Hanuman Tibba peak. After spending some time here, start your trek to Biskeri. Walk for an hour crossing a few streams to reach the campsite at Biskeri Thatch. Reach the campsite and freshen up, enjoy the hot dinner and retire for the day in the camps.
Day 5 - Biskeri Thatch to Barshaini and drive to Kasol

Wake up to a magnificent view of the Himalayan peaks and prepare for the journey back to Barshaini. After breakfast, trek through the dense forest along the gushing Parvati River and pass through the tranquil villages of Pulga. Cross the bridge across the Parvati river from Tulga to reach Barshaini. Reach Barshaini and board transportation from here to Kasol. Upon reaching Kasol, bid farewell to your fellow trekkers and end your trek to Sar Pass with beautiful memories.

By Road :- The NH-3 is the main road leading to this village towards Manali. A road journey should simply just be as enjoyable and pleasant as Kasol itself. You can opt for self-drive or hire a cab. Delhi sets the base for people coming from long distances. By Train :- Kasol does not have a railway station of its own. To reach Kasol by railways you have to get off at the nearest railway station to Kasol which is Joginder Nagar railway station, about 144 km from the village of Kasol. You can take a cab from the station to reach Kasol or a bus from the Joginder Nagar Bus Stand towards Manikaran which should take about 4.5 to 5 hours. By Air :- The nearest airport to Kasol is Kullu Manali Airport also known as Bhuntar Airport in Kullu district. Daily flights connect the airport to the country’s capital, Delhi. You can book a cab or a taxi to go to Kasol from the Bhuntar airport which is a mere 31 km and will take you about 1 hour to reach there. The nearest airport to Kasol is located in Bhunter, which is 31 kilometres away.
