Skandagiri is located in a village called Kalavara Halli, and hence it is also known as Kalavara Durga. At the foothills of Skandagiri lies one of Karnataka’s ancient and oldest mutts, the Papagni Mutt.
Skandagiri is located less than 60 km from Bengaluru and just 3 km from Chikballapur and is well connected by road and railways. Therefore, it is an ideal year-round trek for first-time trekkers as well as the seasoned ones and can be completed in 5 hours comfortably (2 hours to ascend and 2 hours to descend, with an hour’s break at the summit).
Skandagiri hill has been visited and praised by many famous personalities on their visit to Nandi Hills during the British Rule, including Jawaharlal Nehru and Sir M. Visveswaraya to name a few.

On the way to Skandagiri Trek starting point, take a small refreshing break.
▪️03:00 am: Reach the Skandagiri trek parking lot and a small warm-up and brief session will be conducted.
▪️ 03:30 am: Begin the trek after a briefing from our experienced skandagiri trek guides
▪️ 05:30 am: Arrive at the summit to take in the stunning sunrise amidst the clouds
▪️ 07:00 am: Start the descent from the peak.
▪️ 09:00 am: Return to the base(Skandagiri Parking lot)
▪️ 09:30 am: En-route to Bangalore.
▪️ 10:00 am: Take a break to refresh and enjoy a breakfast
▪️ 12:00 pm: Reach back to Bangalore with the drop-off points being the same as the pick-up locations

1 In case of cancellation the booking handeling chargers will be applied
2 .cancellation applicaple only 24 hrs before departure .

1. Tickets once booked cannot be exchanged or refunded
2. An Internet handling fee per ticket may be levied. Please check the total amount before payment
3. We recommend that you arrive at-least 30 minutes prior at the venue for a seamless entry
