Spiti Valley is a cold desert mountain valley located high in the Himalayas in the north-eastern part of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The name "Spiti" means "The middle land", i.e. the land between Tibet and India. Spiti valley is famous for its natural beauty and cultural heritage. Tabo monastery is one of the most prominent attractions in Spiti. The monasteries in Spiti are renowned for spectacular murals, ancient temples, and several stupas. Day 0 - Delhi to Shimla

Get Ready to be departed from delhi with fellow Travellers. Have an Intro Session with your Group and Start your Journey. Reach shimla Next Morning by an overnight Journey in Volvo.
Day 1 - Shimla - Chitkul/Sangla

In morning after Reaching shimla our tempo traveller will pick up all from volvo stand and start your journey towards sangla/ chitkul , enroute visit narkanda.. Reach sangla/chitkul by evening, check-in at the hotel/Camp. Rest day is free for local sight-seeing. Have a delicious dinner and over night stay at hotel/camps.
Day 2 - Chitkul to Nako

After Breakfast, Get excited for your upcoming adventures in spiti. this will one of the most scenic drive of your life. Overlooking by the spiti river, it gives a chance to enjoy 360 degree view of mountain ranges. On the way you'll witness the beauty of Satluj and Spiti River Confluence (Khab Sangam). Reach nako and check-in into your homestay. in the evening spend sometime near nako lake , have your dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 - Nako to kaza

Today we will be covering a lot of ground so we will be starting early in the morning , it is advisable that we get going before 8 in morning. From nako we start by crossing the famed malling nallah . After that we will visit Gue monastery, tabo monastery , Dhankar Monastery and Pin Valley (if time allows). Will reach kaza by evening . check in at you homestay, have dinner and overnight stay at kaza.
Day 4 - Kaza Local

wake up early morning & head towards sightseeing of spiti valley. we will visit the iconic monastery known as key monastery, after that head towards the highest suspension bridge in Asia ( Chicham Bridge). come back to kaza and go for self exploration in kaza market, come to kaza, stay at your own cost.

wake in the morning & get ready for the day, head towards visiting the highest post office in the world (Hikkim). after that we will visit the highest village in the world known as Komic and Langza which is the fossil village of india. drop at Langza, stay at your own cost.
Day 6 - Kaza to Chandertal via (Losar & Kunzum Pass)

wake up early morning & get back to kaza main road by your own. join our group again to continue your journey towards chandratal. along the way we will visit losar village and kunzum pass ( Gateway of Spiti) reach chandratal take a walk along side the chandratal lake, reach your campsite & take some rest.
Day 7 - Chandertal to Manali

This day is very important day ,today you have to start your journey by early morning because you have to cross this day 14 to 15 water streams and also this is the last day of your Spiti trip and you will pass the Atal tunnel .Reach Manali by Afternoon / evening. leisure time at manali(by own, if time permits) and Depart to delhi. Reach Delhi by Next morning.

Okay..so I booked this trip from Journey basket for Chopta. Didn’t expect much from it in the beginning as I’m a traveller and like to explore new hiking destinations myself. However, to my surprise, Journey basket just flipped the perception for me. It went great and I enjoyed every bit of it.
The camps were nice and spacious with good hygiene. They were well equipped with warm beddings considering the December winters.
Our tour coordinators Pankaj, Gaurav and Ayush Balli managed the group pretty well with various group activities to indulge every individual.
We did two treks - Tungnath temple and Doriyatal trek. Treks were an ultimate fun and an amazing experience!!
Well, the best is yet to come.. Journey Basket had arranged an amazing New Years Party with DJ and dance.. One couldn’t expect much !!

Guests, Who are unable to visit our office for booking, can deposit amount in the bank account or can makepayment online through net banking. Also, after making the transfer, intimate the same to us by sendingscanned copy/screenshot of bank slip and personal details.
Cost and consequences arising due to any force majeure situations including but not limited to unforseen
circumstances like; natural calamities, political disturbance, health issues, roads block, things beyond our control etc. will have to be borne by the guest.
There will be additional charges for the passengers would like to stay back at the destination or transit.
Any changes in itinerary or upgrade in camps will be charged extra, over and above the given cost (which will be informed to the customer in advance for final acceptance and payment).
We do not allow drinking during the travel mode in the bus. Anyone found drunk at the time of boarding will be refused entry and no amount will be refundable. Journey Basket also reserves the right to discontinue your trip at any point on the grounds of misconduct. Such persons are strictly prohibited.
AC will be switched off on hill and during waiting time. This is for travelers safety as route can be dangerous and vehicle may not be able to pull off load with AC running.
