As part of its never-ending beauty and wonders, Coorg brings to you its highest point: Tadiandamol, a trek at an altitude of 5735 feet. This stunning peak is surrounded by the greenery and expanses of the Shola forests, which are broken by the beautiful blueness of the water bodies that cut through it. The word Tadiandamol in Kannada means a big mountain, which is what it exactly is.
The starting point of this trek is Nalakanad Palace, which will take you through a wide expanse of colours, sights and smells that you have never experienced before. Once you make it all the 5735 feet to the top, you are going to be rewarded by the company of nature, which will include flowers, snails, trees, streams, and butterflies. Following this gorgeous walk amidst nature, you will return to the homestay and can enjoy the company of your new trek family!
Some memories linger a little longer than others; some leave an esoteric imprint, whilst only a precious few warm you up from the inside and turn you into a storyteller. The mind-blowing adventure to ascend the peak of Tadiandamol, a mountain of such majestic beauty enveloped by an imposing atmosphere of serenity, is one such memory to gain while you enter into the New Year 2024.

Since you are far away from the hustle-bustle of the city now, it is time to forget all the worries that you stress about every day and get ready for the two most peaceful days of your life. Your entire group will reach the campsite early on in the day and after arrival, will take part in a wonderful breakfast and freshening up session.
The trek will start from the base village of Kakkabe which hosts the starting point of the trek that is Nalakand Palace. This starting point is 4 km away from the main road and has a curvy and slightly tricky road to navigate. Once the road to the actual trail begins, it is fairly easy to navigate and follow, even for beginners. On the road up, you will come across a waterfall and a number of streams that will be a feast for your eyes! The animals that will pass you by on this trail will range from tiny butterflies to snails. These animals will be surrounded by the fresh greenness of the surrounding forests and the calm blue of the sky.
During the journey, you will come across the Big Rock which is where you can enjoy your meal as well as take a lot of pictures of each other! Make the most of this time as it has some of the most beautiful panoramic views you have seen in your entire life.
The steep ascent up to False Point might make you feel a little out of breath but it will be totally worth it when you see the gorgeous view of the forest cover from the point. Following this point, the trail will get narrow and steeper but it will be well compensated by the beautiful blowing flowers you will see on either side.
You will start the descent back to the base camp and will finish the trek by 6 in the evening. That in no way means that the fun has ended, in fact, it has just begun. You will be provided with the lovely traditional Coorg meals which can be eaten alongside the big bonfire.

Abbey Falls, one of South India's most beautiful waterfalls, is surrounded by diverse vegetation and vast coffee and spice farms. Travelers will remember this breathtaking scene for a lifetime as the water cascades down a cliff with a height of 70 feet. The Abbey Waterfalls in Coorg attracts nature enthusiasts, photographers, and adventure seekers from all over the world with its lush green Western Ghats backdrop. A bridge that hangs over the opposite side of the falls allows visitors to view and photograph the impressive sight of water streams and white foams flowing over the ridge.
This stunning waterfall was formed by the confluence of multiple small mountain streams, which gives it a more spectacular appearance. Abbey Falls meets the river Kaveri or Cauvery as one of its tributaries after tumbling down the cliff. About 200 stairs lead from the entry point to the waterfall, which is in a lush environment with coffee and spice farms. Photographers are able to capture the beauty of nature in the panoramic scene. Abbey Falls is a hiking paradise for those who want adventure, and it's a wonderful place to soak up peace and quiet in the midst of nature if you love the outdoors.
Abbey Falls has a fascinating past as Jessy Falls in the past. The lush surroundings and abundant flora and fauna of Abbey Falls intrigued the first British priest in Coorg. As a result, he gave the location the name Jessy Falls in honour of his daughter. The region was governed by the Indian Government when the British Empire ended. The fall's picturesque vistas and lush surroundings, meanwhile, were obscured by the woods. Later, Neravanda B. Nanaiah acquired this property from the government and set up additional coffee and spice farms nearby. It is a secluded property with breathtaking views. The breathtaking natural splendour of the location came into view as the wilderness and forests began to be cleared, exposing the people to the captivating waterfalls and streams. Abbey Falls is now the top tourist destination in Madikeri, Coorg.
Located in the city of Kushalnagar, the Namdroling Monastery is widely regarded as one of the world's foremost institutions for the promotion, study, and preservation of Vajrayana Tibetan Buddhism. You might get lucky and join one of the 300 resident monks in prayer, an experience that goes far beyond anything you've ever imagined.
After this visit, the trip back to Bangalore will commence.
Come with us on this amazing journey to this beautiful location, and leave behind the stresses of everyday life. We guarantee that as you lay eyes on the waterfalls and verdant vegetation that Coorg has to offer, you will feel like your problems are more than 5735 feet away!
