All About It
  • 8 Days  7 Nights
  • For 18+ years

The place on the Asiatic continent where experiences talk, pictures come to life and life, in general, smiles is without a doubt – Thailand. Fitting betwixt Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos, it is a country amalgamated with Buddhist practices, bizarre cultures, tropical beaches, and artistic indulgence.

If your mind keeps scrolling from country to country to land on a spiritually charged land infused with art and luxury, here is your stop. Calling all trippers on this Thailand Tour that covers East and West, and also takes you to an alfresco beach-y Full Moon Party, which happens only once per month every Full Moon Night. It's going to be a crazy night with people from international borders.

Commencing in Phuket in the West, and reaching Koh Samui in the East, the Thailand Tour will go out of control in Koh Phangan where Full Moon Party is waiting to rave you up. The trip finally breaks in Krabi from where we will be free to extend the Thailand Trip however we want.

Notes Before You Hit Full Moon Party.

  1. Beware of your feet. There is a lot of trash on the beach and it might not be safe walking or dancing with flip flops.
  2. Most people wear UV paint. Be careful, because the paint may not only stain your clothes, but it might leave stains in the hotel, especially on towels and sheets. Make sure you wash all the paint off before you go to bed.

Hanging tightly to Thailand, Phuket is a rainforested, mountainous island in the Andaman Sea. It camouflages like a decent fellow, painted in all shades of high-end life. Phuket is known for its old shophouses, uptown markets, luxurious resorts, and busy streets.

Culture in Thailand is a culmination of strong Indian influence, Chinese traditions and unique features from the land itself. If pictures of this land shutter on your screen, there is a high probability you will not be able to resist booking a Thailand flight ticket. Plus, the No-Visa requirement and hassle-free procedure make Thailand one of the chosen international destinations for Indians. Plan the Unplanned team calls you for a Thailand Tour where you will experience luxury blended with a pinch of adventure. Check out the complete itinerary; book your tickets NOW.

Thailand Guide: The Do’s and Don’ts

The social fabric here encompasses all boundaries. People cover extra miles to give you a warm Sanuk feeling. But when visiting this country, specific pointers should be well-noted and practised.

Do’s

  1. Playfulness is central to life in Thailand. For your spontaneously joyful personality, Thailand will open a red carpet with flowers floating on its aisle.
  2. Family is the second thing central to a Thai’s life. You will find many extended families living under the same roof.
  3. Thais are known for self-control. Losing their temper is a sign of shame for them.
  4. Since a European power could never colonise Thailand, the Thais are incredibly proud of their country.
  5. A Thai SIM card is easy to obtain. Both rental mobile phones and SIM cards are conveniently available in most international airports and places like Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Phuket.
  6. Watch out for pickpockets.
  7. Thailand is a tropical country; thus, the summer sun seems stifling. Please feel free to bring sunscreen and light clothing.
  8. When visiting Thai temples and royal palaces, dress appropriately, with shoulders and knees covered for both genders. The better, the more formal your attire.
  9. Pointing at another person with one’s index finger or feet is rude. The soles of one’s feet should never be pointed at another person. Feet should be rested on something other than tables or pillows that people sleep on.
  10. Be mindful of what you speak while in Thailand. Speaking ill of the Thai royal family can lead to prison time, regardless of citizenship. Tourists are advised not to mention the king at all.
    1. In 2012, an American went to jail for insulting the Thai king. He was released later.
    2. A Thai man was accused of writing a “sarcastic” Internet post against the king’s beloved dog in 2015.

Don’ts

  1. Do not touch someone’s head, as it is considered sacred.
  2. Do not point your feet at people or objects, as the feet are considered the lowest and dirtiest part of the body.
  3. Do not touch or pass things over someone’s head.
  4. Do not raise your voice or become confrontational in public, as Thais highly value peace and harmony.
  5. Do not disrespect the monarchy or Buddhism, as both are deeply revered in Thai culture.

What’s life without adventure? Isn’t the real purpose of life to travel, to experience new places, and witness the sunrise from new mountaintops? This thought is what united Jatin and Tarun over a cup of chai, in spite of being from two unrelated backgrounds (CA and IT). They knew each other since the time Jatin was helping Tarun learn the ways of the wilderness through weekend treks and outings with another traveling group. Their love for traveling and trekking together motivated them to start something of their own. Thus was born “Plan The Unplanned”, where travel goals come true. Under the Companies Act, Plan The Unplanned is incorporated as Unplanned Journeys Private Limited They started their journey on unsteady ground, much like any other company, but they shared an infatuation for travel and adventure with their customers, which amplified their determination, and thus, Plan the Unplanned family keeps getting bigger every day! Just about any travel idea can come alive with Plan The Unplanned…treks, adventure activities like rock climbing, kayaking, rafting, backpacking trips across the country, cultural outings, photo walks; everything that fellow travelers need, to explore the great outdoors together. Well now that the wanderlust has kicked in and you can already see a vacation in your nearest future, here’s what we have to offer!
