The Hampta Circuit Trek starts in the charming village of Sethan. With less than 20 houses, this place rapidly becomes covered with layers of crisp white snow. It is usually not even possible to transport beyond Sethan in late winters. The trek then marches through the widespread pine, deodar, oak, chestnut and maple trees into the verdant grazing grounds of Chikka. But it doesn't end here! It instead takes you onto the snow trail - exploring deeper into the heart of the Hampta Valley. For a glimpse into the true nature of a winter wonderland, this trek is perfect.
