Highlights

-You will be guided on the process of writing, understanding, and appreciating modern contemporary poetry. -You will be aided by the ustad in utilising social media in the right way so that you can develop your own audience and maximise your reach. - The ustad will walk you through modern contemporary poetry, including the two essential styles - page poetry and spoken poetry. Depending on your liking, the expert will help you explore the respective style. - The ustad will also provide examples and his own study and understanding of writing and publishing poetry. - Before attending the session, you will need to have a basic sense of poetry, if not, a basic liking or inclination towards poetry. - You need to be on at least one social media platform. - You should carry a writing equipment (either one of notebook and pen, laptop, voice recorder) - The ustad will be providing you with a signed copy of his own book. - He will also provide you with topics and inspiration so that you can start with your basic poetry. He will help you to edit and publish it on your social media. - The venue for the session will be any coffee shop that you are comfortable with. - The session will be conducted in English language
