All About It
Often, we overlook Bombay's identity as a 'beach town,' oblivious to the fact that we have beaches nestled right in the heart of the city. And while you wouldn’t ever find someone sunbathing on the beaches of Bombay, what awaits you is a vibrant intertidal marine ecosystem. So pick up your fishing nets and put them down again (cause this isn’t that kind of adventure) and head out with us to explore the wonders of our coast that usually swim under the radar!
Upcoming Batches:
- Thursday, 1st May (Labour Day) | 6:45 am (Juhu, Granth Book Store)
- Thursday, 1st May (Labour Day) | 6:45 am (Haji Ali, Haji Ali Juice Centre)

- Saturday, 31st May | 7:15 am (Juhu, Granth Book Store)
- Saturday, 31st May | 7:15 am (Haji Ali, Haji Ali Juice Centre)
(Our marine walks are open to kids too. However, due to the nature of the terrain at Haji Ali, children below the age of 7 yrs won't be allowed to join the walks conducted specifically there)
What will we do ?
This is your chance to see the shores of Bombay in a whole new light. From sea sponges, anemones, snails, and hermit crabs to the elusive starfish and octopus, your naturalist will take you on a 2-hour walk and help you spot these magnificent creatures that thrive on our beaches. Learn astounding facts, marvel at their deceptive ways, and be awed by their fantastic lives from sea to shore and sea again!

Vagabond started out as a project by four friends with a disdain for the ordinary. The idea was simple; take people out of their comfort zones. Not like Roadies, but just enough to bond them together through beautiful and authentic experiences. Happiness, as they say, is only real when shared. And share we did. The company was founded in 2014. As fresh Bachelor of Arts degree holders, companies were lining up to hire us fine gentlemen; we’re kidding. Fueled by entrepreneurial zeal, we started with small events in the city like heritage walks through Bombay’s old quarters. As musicians and travellers ourselves, we decided to marry these two loves of our lives. That is how the idea for the first Fields of Sound™ came about. Since then, it has only been onward and upwards for us. Since 2014, we’ve made friends like family through our journey. Our little ‘Vaga’-Fam. It’s safe to say, it’s been quite an adventure. One we would like you to join :)
