One of the recent highlights of this Yavatmal based Sanctuary says it’s a reserve for 12-14 tigers and around 10 cubs. To put it correctly, its Tiger Lover’s retreat!
Spilling the beans: When you begin your tour inside the Sanctuary, what will make you go aww is the unexplored side of Tippeshwar. An exciting journey takes you through dense forest watered by four rivers. To your wonderment, it’s a core of the breath-takingly scenic flora & fauna. The fire woods, timbers & tweaks have formed an ecosystem for several species of animals & migratory birds as well.
Although acknowledged as a reservoir of yellow stripped animal, Tippeshwar is much beyond that.

Recognized for Tigers, this Sanctuary is situated close enough to the state of Karnataka & Nagpur, Wardha, Chandrapur of Maharashtra. Touring in a group of fellows with mutual passion has been Wildlife enthusiast’s cherished dream. You will meet many such people who reach here just to get a glance of tiger/tigers but also end up exploring varied species of animals. Unexpected sightings of leopards, sloth bears, jackals, Wild dogs, Nilgai, Spotted & Sambar deer would make the Wildlife freak in you go crazy. Go, make some Picturesque memories by spotting inhabited & migratory birds like Crested serpent eagles, Brown fish owl, Asian paradise flycatchers, Indian Nightjar, Oriental honey buzzards, Racket-tailed drongos, Rock bush quails, Francolins. The joy is similar when you win brownie points but this one is priceless for sure! Wildlife photographers & vloggers visit twice or thrice a week to capture the wild beauty in the best possible way.
