2. How difficult is the Kumar Parvatha trek?

The trek is considered moderate to difficult, ideal for trekkers with good fitness levels. It involves steep ascents, rocky terrain, and dense forest paths over a distance of approximately 22–26 km (round trip).

3. What is the best time to do the Kumar Parvatha trek?

  • October to February is the best time for this trek. The weather is pleasant, and visibility is clear.

  • Avoid trekking during the monsoon (June–September) due to slippery trails and leeches.

Not mandatory, but recommended. First-time trekkers should ensure good physical fitness and stamina, as the trail is long and challenging.

5. How do I reach the starting point of the trek?

The trek usually starts from Kukke Subramanya Temple.

  • By Road: Kukke is well connected by buses from Bangalore, Mangalore, and Mysore.
