You cannot even imagine nature can look as beautiful as this after a spell of shower unless you visit Cherrapunji.
Picturesque waterfalls
Elephant Falls, Nohkalikai Falls, Wei Sawdong waterfalls, Krang Suri Falls, and the famous Seven Sister Falls are some of the most scenic waterfalls of Meghalaya. Watching water cascading down hills feels extremely calming. And you get to experience that many times over with so many waterfall locations in Meghalaya. The blue and green hues of each waterfall are unique and the beauty of it will surely leave you awe-inspired.
Garden of caves and Arwah caves
Arwah caves are famous for the fossils that you get to see that will teach you a lot about our planet. On the other hand, the natural light streaming into the Garden of caves is a sight to behold. The caves, ponds, and dense forests will bring out the hidden explorer in you.
Double decker living root bridge

Report at Guwahati Airport at 10 am and prelude the Meghalaya trip. We will visit Umiam Lake which is situated in the North of Shillong with Lush green Hills all around. Overnight stay at Shillong.
Drive from Shillong to Cherrapunji. There are ample local places for sightseeing in Cherrapunji. We will witness the beauty of the Elephant Falls and Arwah Caves and explore Nawlikai waterfall or the garden of caves. Also, visit Wei Sawdong Falls and admire the beauty of Dainthlen falls along the way. Overnight stay at Cherrapunji.
Enjoy the beautiful view of the Seven Sisters (Nohsngithiang) waterfall. Travel to the Nongriat village & trek to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge. Overnight stay at Nongriat village in a homestay and live a life like locals for a day.
Explore the crystal clear Umngot River in Dawki. Spend the night in a camp at Shnonpedeng.
After breakfast, we drive to Jowai. Trek to the Krangshuri waterfall and a lot of masti in the water. We visit a Secret Waterfall if time permits and head for Shillong. Overnight stay at Shillong.
Drive back from Shillong to Guwahati. If time permits, on our way back we relax and rejoice in our moments of the trip at Laitlum Canyon. Head back home with happy memories from the enchanting and eventful Meghalaya trip; memories that will last a lifetime.

Hikerwolf has become a character of a lot of travel journeys and one thing that we’re sure of is that we deliver happiness. With each trip and adventure, we’ve seen shining smiles, and an overdose of laughter packed with wistful memories. We based our foundation in 2016, and since then we have been spreading the warmth of happiness and bringing people closer to the outer lasting friendships via group tours. Hikerwolf organizes group tours, corporate trips, treks, camping events, college industrial visits, and other adventure, and travel events. How we got here Weekend trips and restaurant hoppings with his group of friends were a regular part of our Founder Smit Desai’s life during his college days. His bond with his friends was very strong, so much so that they believed that they would travel the world together. But destiny had some other plans and just like that, as they got out of college to venture into the next phase of life, everybody’s priorities started to change. New jobs, new placements, and a new set of people: a corporate lifestyle did not promise the happiness and bondings that their college buddies could provide. Although they tried catching up with their old buddies over the weekends, owing to their busy lifestyle, things didn’t quite get executed as they would have planned. While others could have sensed loneliness. Smit saw a business opportunity in this. He empathized with many others who most likely go through similar episodes and emotions in their lives. He decided to make a travel company where people could meet, make bonds, and travel as if they are travelling with a group of their old friends. The idea behind HikerWolf was born, but the journey toward the execution was not easy. Smit started and closed a few small travel ventures in 2012 before he finally decided to go big with his dream project HikerWolf in 2016. And that’s how Hikerwolf happened. Hikerwolf stirred from the same idea of bringing people together, spreading happiness, and making memories with strangers who end up becoming your friend. Our idea of spreading happiness is not only restricted to our travel ventures, we love doing the same wherever we go. Hikerwolf structures its journeys in ways that can uplift and empower the local communities across remote locations and thus make an attempt to spread happiness in their lives. Q: Can I join Solo for the HikerWolf’s Meghalaya Trip?
A: Yes, you are welcome to join Solo for the Meghalaya tour. We have many Solo Trippers on all of our trips. The Meghalaya trip is planned in such a way that you will not only enjoy yourself but also make new friends with the other fellow trippers.
Q: What is the group size for the HikerWolf’s Meghalaya trip?
A: A group of 15-30 people is preferred on our Meghalaya trip. We prefer smaller groups because we think that a close-knitted group will help us in giving personal care to everyone, and also a small group makes it possible for everyone to know their fellow tourmates better, making the whole experience of the trip more enriching.
Q: Who will accompany us on the Meghalaya tour?
A: Our travel coordinators will accompany you on the Meghalaya trip. HikerWolf’s travel coordinators are professionals, who are experienced in leading and hosting events, managing groups, and organizing various team-building games and activities. This type of team-building activity will help like-minded travellers to mix up, and bond with each other. They will make new friends and enjoy every moment of the trip.
Q: What type of accommodation will be provided on the Meghalaya trip
A: On HikerWolf’s Meghalaya tour package accommodation will be in homestays, hotels, and camps on a triple sharing basis . If you’re a couple, inform us beforehand as dual-sharing accommodation will cost an additional charge.We will make sure that you have a comfortable stay during the trip.
Q: Is there any age limit for the HikerWolf’s Meghalaya trip?
A: Yes. The maximum age limit to join the Meghalaya trip is 35 years. People above the age of 35 will not be allowed on the trip. It is important that travellers are within the prescribed age limit on the day of departure, otherwise they will not be eligible to join. We follow this age criterion very strictly, and cannot make any exceptions whatsoever.
We feel that if the age group is narrow it will lead to a better experience for our travellers when they visit a destination and the whole experience of the trip will be more fun since people are going to be on the same wavelength. Plus, it is always great when people make friends and keep in touch later.
Q: If I’m the only girl for the Meghalaya trip, is it safe to travel?
A: Yes. It is completely safe for you to travel if you are the only girl on the Meghalaya trip. On our trips, we generally have many girls joining us so there is a high possibility that you are not the only girl on the trip. There are high chances that you will befriend other fellow trippers on the Meghalaya trip and have a great time with them, making new friends.
Also, the majority of our staff are women as well. We give great importance to the safety of a woman and assure you that you will be under the care of safe and reliable people on the Meghalaya Tour.

A: Yes, the Meghalaya tour package includes breakfast for the 5 days of the trip and we will also arrange for dinner at Dawki camping site.
Q: What are the places included in HikerWolf’s Meghalaya tour package?
A: The places which are included in the HikerWolf’s Meghalaya tour package are as follows:
On day 1 of the Meghalaya trip, we will travel from Guwahati to Shillong. En-route, we will visit the famous Kamakhya temple, the Umiam Lake, Iewduh market, the Police Bazaar, and Shillong Peak.
On day 2 of the Meghalaya trip, we will travel to Cherrapunji from Shillong. En-route we will visit some notable places like the Maswami Caves and Arwah Caves, the Dainthlen Falls and enjoy the local sightseeing at Cherrapunji.
On day 3 of the Meghalaya tour, we will first explore Cherrapunji, then take a hike to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge, and explore the neighbouring village there.
On day 4 of the Meghalaya tour, we will travel to Shnonpedeng from Cherrapunji. En-route, we will visit the famous Seven Sisters (Nohsngithiang) Falls and Nohkalikai Falls. Visiting the Mawlynnong village, and the Dawki River in Dawki is also in the list.
On day 5 of the Meghalaya tour package, we will travel to Shillong from Shnongpdeng. En-route we will visit the Krang Suri waterfall and the Nartiang Monoliths.
