  • Warm Jacket preferably a down jacket or an equivalent heavy jacket to protect from cold at night
  • Comfortable Shoes with a good grip and ankle support.
  • A pair of fleece jackets or fleece upper
  • Good Thermals for insulation at night
  • Lip Balm and Cold Cream
  • Sun Cap or Sunscreen (SPF 30+)
  • Dark Sunglasses. People who wear spectacle may use photochromatic lenses in their aspects
  • 2 pairs of warm socks and at least 2 pairs of normal cotton socks
  • 1 Pair of slippers/Sandals
  • Woolen Cap and Gloves for night
  • Toiletries – Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Liquid soap, Hand Sanitizers, Slippers, Light Towel, Toilet Roll (Avoid wet tissues as they are not eco-friendly)

HOW TO REACH

Dehradun, the capital city of Uttarakhand, India, can be reached by various modes of transportation:

By Air

The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport (DED), located about 30 kilometers from Dehradun city center. The airport has regular flights connecting major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore. From the airport, you can take a taxi or bus to reach the city.

By Train

Dehradun Railway Station (DDN) is well-connected with major cities in India, including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Amritsar. 

By Road

Dehradun is connected by a network of national highways and state highways. You can reach Dehradun by bus, car, or taxi from nearby cities. 

By Bus

Inter-state and intra-state bus services are available to and from Dehradun. The Uttarakhand Transport Corporation (UTC) runs regular buses, including Volvo and deluxe buses, from Delhi, Haridwar, Rishikesh, and other nearby cities.


  • If cancellation is made 30 days or more before the Date of Travel, 25% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees
  • If cancellation is made between 29 days to 16 days before the date of travel, 50% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees
  • If cancellation is made between 7 days to 15 days before the date of travel, 80% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees
  • If cancellation is made within 7 days before the date of travel, the total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees
  • If payment is not made as per the schedule provided in the first booking confirmation Email, Sky Hike reserves the right to cancel the booking after attempting to get in touch with you. Refunds would be as per the package Cancellation policy
  • Transfer your Trek/Trip (any Trek/Trip, within 2 months of your Date of Travel) to your friend before 15 days of your Date of Travel
  • 70% cash voucher in the form of 'HikeCoin' for any other Trip/Trek for one year, If we are informed before 20 days of the date of travel (1 Rupees = 10 HikeCoin)
  • 80% cash voucher in the form of 'HikeCoin' for the same Trip/Trek for one year. If we are informed before 20 days of the date of travel (1 Rupees = 10 HikeCoin)
  • The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days
  • While entering passenger names during the booking process, Do ensure that they exactly match the names on the travel documents (e.g. Aadhar Crad/PAN card/ Passport/Voter ID card/Any Identity Card) that you will be carrying for the Trip/Trek
  • The passenger names in the booking form should be exactly as per Adhar Card. Sky Hike will not bear any liability for the name change fee if incorrect names and ages have been added at the time of booking
  • In case your package needs to be canceled due to any natural calamity, weather conditions, etc. SkyHike reserves the right to deny a refund request in the event of a disaster, depending on the nature of the disaster and its impact on the organization
  • SkyHike reserves the right to modify the itinerary at any point, due to reasons including but not limited to Force Majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, cancellation rescheduling, closure of /entry restrictions at a place of visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we will not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this
