Day 2 - Into the Wild | The Ascent to Ghangaria

The Kick-off: Rise with the sun! We depart from Pandukeshwar to Govindghat. From here, a quick local transfer takes us to Pulna (3 km), the official starting point of our trek. Tighten those laces—the journey to the heart of the mountains begins here.
Walking with the Lakshman Ganga: As we ascend, the crystal-clear Lakshman Ganga river flows alongside us, its rhythmic roar providing the perfect soundtrack to our climb. The trail is well-paved but offers a healthy challenge for your lungs and legs.
Ghangaria: The Hidden Basecamp: After a rewarding trek, we reach Ghangaria (9,600 ft). This quaint, one-street village is a unique Himalayan outpost. It’s the last point of civilization before the Valley and Hemkund Sahib.
- Explore: Take a stroll through the local market or visit the peaceful Gurudwara.

A Floral Symphony: Welcome to the Valley of Flowers (11,500 ft). Imagine a 10 km long carpet of pink, blue, yellow, and purple blooms. From the rare Blue Poppy to the Brahmakamal, every step is a new discovery.

Day 4 - The Stairway to Heaven | Hemkund Sahib Ascent

The Early Start: We kick off the day at the crack of dawn. Today is a steep, zig-zag climb, but the energy of the pilgrims and the chants of "Waheguru" will keep your spirits high. Every step brings you closer to the clouds.
The Glacial Lake (Amrit Sarovar): Upon reaching the top, you are greeted by the sight of a crystal-clear, emerald-green glacial lake surrounded by seven snow-capped peaks. The reflection of the mountains in the still water is a sight you’ll never forget.
The Golden Gurudwara: Visit the world’s highest Gurudwara. Whether you seek spiritual peace or just a moment of silence, the vibe here is magical.
- TravelMite Ritual: Don't miss the Hot Langar (Khichdi) and Kada Prasad. After a tough climb, it’s the most delicious meal you’ll ever have.

Day 5 - The Descent | From Clouds back to the Valley

Last Morning in Ghangaria: Wake up to the crisp mountain air one last time. After a hearty breakfast at our basecamp, we begin our descent. The trail that felt like a challenge on Day 2 now feels like an old friend.
The Joy of Downhill: Gravity is on our side today! Enjoy the lush greenery and the roar of the Lakshman Ganga as we head towards Pulna. You’ll find yourself stopping to take those "one last" photos of the waterfalls and bridges.
Local Shift: From Pulna, our local transfer will whisk us back to Govindghat. It’s a short drive, but a great time to high-five your trek-mates for completing the journey.
Return to Pandukeshwar: We head back to our cozy stay in Pandukeshwar. The luxury of a proper bed and a hot shower after days of trekking feels like heaven!
The Final Tribe Gathering: * TravelMite Special: Tonight, we sit together for our "Certificate Distribution" (if applicable) or a final "Tribe Talk."

The Long Drive Back: After an early breakfast in Pandukeshwar, we bid farewell to the high peaks and begin our drive back towards Rishikesh. The journey is long (approx. 9-10 hours), but the memories of the Valley will keep you company.
The Panch Prayag Trail: As we drive down, we’ll witness the magnificent confluences of the Alaknanda River:
Vishnuprayag, Nandprayag, Karnaprayag, Rudraprayag, and Devprayag. * TravelMite Special: We’ll take a quick pit-stop at Devprayag to see the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda merge to form the holy Ganges. It’s the perfect spot for a final group photo!
Riverside Lunch: We’ll stop at local dhabas along the way for some "Pahadi Dal-Chawal" and one last round of mountain tea.
Arrival at Rishikesh: By late evening, we’ll reach the yoga capital, Rishikesh.
We’ll drop you off at the Rishikesh Bus Stand/Railway Station or our pickup point at The 60s Cafe, Tapovan.

By Air: From Indira Gandhi Delhi International airport, flights operate to Jolly Grant commercial airport in Dehradun at frequent intervals. From the airport, you can hire a cab to reach Rishikesh covering a distance of 43 km. Your trekking experience to the valley starts from here.

TravelMite: Booking, Cancellation & Liability Policy
By confirming your booking with TravelMite, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions, designed to ensure a transparent and seamless Himalayan experience.
1. Booking & Payment Framework
Non-Refundable Commitment: All booking advances and deposits are strictly non-refundable and interest-free.
Finality of Confirmation: Once a booking is confirmed, the full amount will be forfeited in the event of no-shows, voluntary itinerary changes, or early exits from the trip.
Unused Services: No refunds or credits shall be issued for missed tours, unused transport, or meals not availed by the client for any reason.
Promotional Bookings: Please note that certain promotional or discounted packages are strictly non-refundable from the moment of booking.
2. Cancellation & Refund Protocols
Strict Timeline: Cancellations made 0 to 15 days prior to the departure date will attract 100% cancellation charges (No Refund).
Formal Procedure: All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing exclusively by replying to your original booking confirmation email at [email protected]. Requests via WhatsApp, Phone, or SMS will not be considered valid.
Date Modifications: Change of travel dates is subject to availability and must be requested at least 15 days prior to the original departure date.
3. Batch Operations & Group Dynamics
Minimum Requirement: A minimum of 6 participants is required for TravelMite to operate a batch independently.
Operational Flexibility: If the minimum group size is not met, TravelMite reserves the right to merge/club participants with a verified local on-ground operator to ensure the trip proceeds as scheduled.
4. Force Majeure & External Disruptions
Unforeseen Events: TravelMite is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by government orders, harsh weather, protests, landslides, strikes, or any "Acts of God."
Mid-Trip Abortions: If a trip is aborted midway due to external disruptions or natural calamities, no refund or credit will be provided.
Pre-Departure Vouchers: If TravelMite cancels a trip before departure due to a natural calamity (e.g., earthquake, heavy snowfall), no cash refund will be issued. Instead, a Travel Voucher for the full amount paid will be provided, valid for 365 days (subject to availability).
Additional Expenses: Any costs incurred due to unforeseen disruptions (extended stays, medical emergencies, or alternative transport) must be borne entirely by the guest.

Personal Belongings: Guests are solely responsible for their luggage and valuables. TravelMite and its partners are not accountable for any missing, lost, or damaged items.

Hemkund Sahib: Yes! It’s a spiritual highlight located at 4,329m. We usually cover it on Day 4.
Badrinath Connection: The Valley is just 25 KM away from Badrinath, making it a perfect spiritual-adventure combo.
