Velas:
Velas a coastal village which falls in the Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra. The place is well known for its beaches. Besides Velas beach, here are several other tourist attractions at Velas including the Bankot Fort and the Harihareshwar Temple
Turtle Festival:
Velas has been attracting nature lovers and travellers more for its Velas turtle festival, Maharashtra than anything else. Hundreds of Olive Ridley Turtles, one of the most treasured species of marine turtles, come ashore at Velas beach for breeding and lay hundreds of eggs

- 23:40 hrs – Pick up from Hotel 3 Star, Kharghar
- Overnight Journey to Velas
Day 2 - Saturday

- 05:00 hrs – Reach Velas eco-village
- 06:00 hrs – Freshen up and get ready to visit the beach for the first sightings.
- 08:00 hrs – Back to the village for Breakfast & tea
- 10:00 hrs – Leave for Bankot fort, it gives you mesmerizing views of the velas bech and harihareshwar temple
- 13:00 hrs – Return to the village and have lunch
- 16:00 hrs – We will visit the beach for more sighitings of Olive Ridley turtles
- 18:30 hrs – After the sightings head back to out homestay
- 20:30 hrs – Have dinner and stroll around the village
- 22:30 hrs – Day Ends!
Day 3 - Sunday

Breakfast, Lunch
- 06:00 hrs – Wake up call
- 06:30 hrs – Visit the beach for the last sighting
- 08:00 hrs – Back to the village for Breakfast & tea
- 10:00 hrs – We will leave for harihareshwar beach, the journey includes an exciting ride in the ferry
- 11:30 hrs – Visit the temple and soak in some Vitamin D at the beach
- 12:30 hrs – Have Lunch, we will start our return journey after lunch
- 22:00 hrs – Reach Mumbai. Say your goodbyes with a promise to meet again. This brings us to the end of our trip, Or rather just the beginning.

Trekking with wandering souls was a safe and good experience. The team leads were genuinely caring and made sure of everyone's safety despite having a large group.The trek was well designed and it also had an introduction session which served as an icebreaker and made the batch more friendly towards eachother. The crowd was decent and blending, you can meet and make new friends. It was my first time trekking with a group and I would join them soon 💪🏽👍🏽

I had the opportunity to travel with wandering souls to during the monsoon. Everyone was taken care of in the group with breakfast and lunch provided at right time. I have been travelling for the last 8 years but it was the first time travelling with a trek organiser. Wandering souls washed away the bias that I had against tour organisers. Everyone was given opportunity to take their own time. They also had team building exercises which were really fun and helped set the mood for a group activity. Planning the next trip with them soon.

- Cancellation charge of 15% would be deducted from the booking if cancelled 3 days before the event.
- No refund would be granted if cancelled within 3 days of the event.

Yes, many of our participants are solo travellers.
Is it safe for a female solo traveller?
It is completely safe for a female solo traveller as our representatives will be there with you all the time. Moreover, most of our event have 60% female participation.
