Adorning the northern hills of Kerala is the beautiful district of Wayanad, maintained by the District Tourism Promotion Council, Wayanad. This area is famous for its large amount of camping and trekking trails, breathtaking waterfalls, caves, bird-watching sites, flora, fauna and an overall plethora of magnificent sights. This area has been a tourist favourite over the years. People are especially delighted by the range of exotic products including spices, coffee, tea, bamboo products, honey and herbal plants available here. Kanthanpara Waterfalls is one hotspot in Wayanad that allures tourists from all over the world. Apart from these magnificent falls, Wayanad calls you to experience the stunning beauty of Karapuzha Dam, Pookode & Karlad Lake as well.
Highlights
If you are an adventure seeker, then Cheengari Rock Adventure Center is a must-visit place for you. Another must-visit place in Wayanad is the Edakkal Caves. The caves are two natural rock formations believed to have been formed by a large split in a huge rock. The carvings inside are extremely beautiful.

Day 1 - WAYANAD –BACKPACKING

● Pack a day backpack & board our vehicle 9:00am
● Head to 900 Kandi (you can indulge in activities like Sky walk, Burma bridge, Archery, Riffle shooting) and visit Glass bridge
● Visit tea estate and Have lunch on the way
● Enjoy off road jeep ride in Wayanad with picturesque views.
● Visit the longest zipline hub (you can indulge in activities like zipline & zipcycle at your own cost)
● Head back to Homestay
● Dinner

Day 2 - WAYANAD –BACKPACKING

● Banasurasagar Dam – Largest Earth dam in India – Indulge in Water activities*
● Visit Meenmutty Waterfalls – Indulge in a freshwater bath
● Have lunch – Self Sponsored (1:30pm to 2:30pm)
● Start journey back towards Bangalore – by 6PM need to cross Bandipura forestCheck post
● Sightsee elephants and deers in the forest, if lucky.
● Reach Mysore by 8pm
● Stop for dinner on the way Reach Bangalore by 10:30pm (approx) based on the situation
