All About It
  • Difficulty - Easy

Famous as "the land of the rising sun", Arunachal Pradesh is one of the largest Indian states, yet the least explored one. It's the very same land where the sun greets the Indian territory first and then make its way to the western side. Rich in flora and fauna, this state flaunts the most dramatic landscapes of valleys, mountains and forests. It's the forests of Arunachal Pradesh that holds the rarest research material one could ever find anywhere else in India. From the endless list of rarest vegetations to more than 115 dwelling tribes, Arunachal represents the most diverse cultural amalgamation with the wild. A random walk through any territory of Arunachal and you are in front of sleepy hills, gushing rivers, gigantic waterfalls, unending valleys, colourful butterflies and surprising rainbows.

Arunachal Pradesh is bordered by Bhutan, Myanmar and China. The monuments across the state are proof that the territory has always been ruled my variety of dynasties having their kingdoms running in the wilderness. There are around 20 main tribes, and more than 115 sub-tribes, which keeps the entire state culturally alive. It's the only Indian territory that gives you the preserved civilisation of tribal culture blended in unadulterated natural beauty.

My dream place has become a reality thanks to Soloyolo, and I still miss that place. It was a fantastic experience traveling to offbeat locations and immersing ourselves in the local culture with these wonderful companions. This adventure wouldn't have been possible without the Soloyolo team and our captain, Jagat. Since most of the travelers were solo, we had a lot of fun ❤️❤️
